As per the title: Is there an updated stand alone server application for SoZ?

If not, what are PW admins doing? Are you buying 2 copies of the game and just stripping one down to the bare essentials on the server box? If that's the case, how much and what can you delete?

I replied to your thread in the tech support forum. You can manually copy the minimal subset of the game install that the server requires over.
