I just completed Awakening today and am wondering if I can sort of update my equipment on Origins by transferring items from Awakening to it, (like my awesome dagger that reeks of darkspawn blood :D) because my end-game equipment that I got from completing Origins feels weak compared to some of the stuff used in Awakening. So ya, just wondering. Anxious to continue my DLC marathon with that dagger of mine.

Thanks.

P.S. The Ultimate Edition is awesome XD! Sorry, I just had to say that here.

You can only export from Awakening into Golems or Witch hunt.

Start a new game by selecting the game (Golems or WH), and choose the option: import a character.

Everything from your Origins save character will transfter to Awakening with the exception of all items acquired from the Warden's Keep DLC. The standalone Blood Armor also does NOT import from Origins to Awakening. Everything else does import to Awakening.

Stone prisoner stuff won't transfer on 360.

But there's a mod importing all the stuff from dlcs. So your perfectly equipped character can still have all their gear. At least for the PC version.

I don't know why you'd want to use that mod. On the PC even though you lose the blood armor, you keep the stats.

But you lose the boots, the rings, the amulets and stand pretty much naked.

In Awakening, you don't really need to bring any gear with you.  It's that easy.  You pick up better gear in Awakening anyways.

I just purchased the Ultimate edition after having completed Origins and played Golems of Amgarrak first and wanted to play Darkspawn Chronicles next but on import character I was only offered the Origins character and lost the changes I gained from Golems - I really like the ability to move my stats and skills around to maximise those I use the most.  Is it possible (I have the PS3 version) to import the character from Golems into Darkspawn or Awakening or should I do them in a different order. Posted Image

You have to start in Origins (hence the name) if you want to have a character that will carryover from one campaign to another. Starting in any of the other modules forces you to generate a new character.

Darkspawn Chronicles is a completely stand-alone module that always begins with a new character (a darkspawn); don't know what you expected to import from there.

You can Import your characters in this Order.

Origins>Awakening>Golems>Witch Hunt.

Never in reverse and you cant import any character to or from Darkspawn/Leilana.

Well that pretty much answered everything I wanted to know about awakenings, except one thing. (I don't have it yet, but a friend wants to lend me the Awakening) Can I play with my Origins disc afterwards? Or do I have to use the Awakenings disc from then on? I wouldn't mind if I lose everything from Awakening as long as I don't lose my Origins game... Should I just not borrow it?

It won't affect your origins save, it just uses the info from it and creates a new save file for Awakening. Your save from Origins will stay exactly the same so you don't have to worry about losing any saves playing the expansion.
