Having played through Origins about four times, I noticed that even if you romanced Morrigan, performed the ritual with her, etc., you do not always get the option of going with her. I found a way to determine at the very beginning of Witch Hunt (version 1.1) to tell if the option to go with her will be available. When the elven woman asks you why you're looking for Morrigan, if the response "I love her" is not available, you will not get the chance to go with her. I believe you have to say when Morrigan tells you that she feels "uncomfortable" because she's fallen in love with you, that you too love her. During one play through, after initialing sleeping with Morrigan, I slept with Leliana but went back to Morrigan. I was not able to accompany her through the portal. The time I WAS able to go with her was the playthrough where I slept with her, expressed my love for her during her "uncomfortable" scene, performed the ritual with her and was faithful to her the entire game. During ALL playthroughs, Morrigan was at the "love" approval rating before the archdemon was killed. In one playthrough, I did not romance Morrigan at all but did perform the ritual with her; Leliana was my sweetheart the whole game. When I gave Morrigan the golden mirror late in the game, her approval rating became "love" so I actually finished Origins with TWO loves! Of course, this pc could not accompany her to never-never land at the end of Witch Hunt.

I know that the romance with Morrigan can reset after the dark ritual is completed and if you speak to her before encountering the Archdemon about what happened. After the coronation (when the ruler of Ferelden is crowned) and once you're back at camp, the relationship with Morrigan resets to her being friends with the Warden. Giving her the Golden Mirror at this point will restore the romance.

Problem getting to the Inner Sanctum:
Did you return to the Raw Fade and as a spirit, go through the spirit portals there? You must slay Yevena. I missed it the first time too; it's mentioned in the Prima Guide but is easily missed (page 211, under NOTE).

Anyway, doesn't Qwinn's fixpack, or the morrigan dialogue fixes, correct this love/friendly bug at the Denerim Gates?

I doubt Qwinn fixes morrigan -- he got his endgame fixes from an old readme of mine and I did very few fixes on her (he does manage to break Leliana, however, for males who want to romance her). He misses a ton of companion stuff because, well, once I learned he was using my readme, i stopped updating ZDF until he was finished -- I figured he could do his own QA work. Yes, what Qwinn did, using my QA and giving me almost no credit for hundreds of hours of work that he ended up not having to do, it annoys me a bit so me pointing this out may be just sour grapes.
ANYWAY, the first version of witch hunt had some issues because of the way flags are cleared if you go to a post-epilogue save. If you started awakening from a save that was past the post-epilogue save (if you, say, stripped your companions and sold their stuff), the flags were cleared. Which caused issues regarding the ritual.
with Morrigan, I believe you should get the option to go through the mirror if she is "still in love" with your warden, but perhaps there's an issue where you can't go through if she's flagged "in love' (though i think there would have been loud complaints) OR if Leliana's romance is checked for first.
Edit: I do want to point out, the "still in love" flag is what happens when the romance gets set back to "friendly" during the conversation with her about the DR (there may be one path in that conversation that doesn't set it -- I'd have to double check that). Having that happen should not prevent the warden from going through the mirror.

You have the latest patch that fixes the Morrigan bug with WH, correct? At the beginning of WH, you should be able to mention to your child when you're speaking with your dog. If the topic doesn't come up, then the import doesn't see that you did the ritual with Morrigan. However, whether Morrigan acknowledges the DR shouldn't impede your ability to go through the Eluvian with her.

Ya I have that patch, it shows up fine, I just don't get the "I love her" when talking to the girl so I know something's up. I've tried every conversation branch as well. DAMN YOU NEPTUNE!

Yeah, that's a bug they never bothered to fix. There is a mod though that will correct it (and some other Morrigan related bugs) at dragonagenexus.com called the "Morrigan Restoration Patch" if you have the PC version. Consoles the Golden Mirror workaround is the only way to fix it.

I did not encounter that bug. The ring I had in my inventory. To the Elf I said "it is not your business" or something when she asked why I want to find Morri (someone in this thread said you would have to answer "because you love her"). To the Dog I probs said something like "we are gonna find her".
Went through the portal "in the first try" after discussing with Morrigan and was uninterested to test what other endings there would had been (wanted to save other selections for other chars).

I also didn't answer "because I love her" or anything like that, although I didn't go as far as saying "it's none of your business." I think I said "that is between me and her" and later when she asked about the ring (which I had been wearing since I got, even though there was an AWESOME ring for sale in this DLC I could easily have bought), I just said that it didn't mean we were married. To my dog, I said "we're gonna find her," too. So no, your relationship status isn't set by the answers you give.

mine was a quick "i wanna go with you:". I think I slept with her 3-5 times, then didn't bother talking etc etc until the witch hunt and etc. I guess Morrigan and Flemeth will met again on DA3
