So who does everyone think is the General that is in Cerberus's pocket?
During the UNC Depot Sigma-23 the recording starts off with.... General if you get this ...... but it doesn't say what the General's name is.
I haven't meet a lot of General's that I can remember but I would assume that it would have been an Alliance General.

I am kind of curious about that. The Alliance is setup like Navy/Marines, and as such they wouldn't have generals, they have Admirals.

So what military is the General from? Makes it even more interesting to me. Could it be an alien military, like the Turians? Or Maybe it is just a General under Cerberus.

As I've said in the past, I think it highly depends on the Shepard.  My Shepard's first move post-Citadel would be shore leave for the crew, but she wouldn't necessarily be inclined to spend the time with Kaidan.  At the same time, she'd be willing to find time in between star systems.

I think Kaidan would be willing, so long as it was in between other things and not in the middle of a fight ("Not now, Commander!" and so on).  Without Saren, there's far less pressure.

A determined Shepard will get laid and convince Kaidan that it is a good idea, if that's what she wants.

I think it's either code, a mistake, or a "General" in Cerberus like Jacob is a "Lieutenant".

It was probably meant to be an official in the Alliance Military (they allegedly do have an army division, if I'm not mistaken - it's a ground based peacekeeping faction for the colonies).

It could still be a human general not part of the Alliance. The Alliance is just the united face of Earth. There is still individual countries, e.i American, Russia, China, etc

Major and General are both used by the Marines to differentiate them from Navy ranks.  So Major Kyle from Torfan was a Marine, while Anderson is Navy.  (I always assumed that, while Marines are usually more combat oriented, the N's were like Seals.  And thus back in the Navy again.)

I like to pretend the Alliance is all there is. XD

Yea, you are probably right. It makes more sense that way.

I admit I haven't really thought out much on the military ranks/division in ME and tend to disregard them for the most part, so my knowledge is limited.
