I think the biggest problem with Horizon is the fact that Bioware has given us way too much time to nitpick at it. They drop this huge bomb on us and then leave us hanging forever without a word, a dossier...anything. PLEASE...Bioware give us our resolve or at least some glimpse of hope where Kaidan is concerned.

THIS. so much THIS. liara folks were pissed, let us not forget, about her "derp, i need to find the shadow broker." i honestly don't know if her seeming personality overhaul in ME2 was better or worse than kaidan's true-to-his-Alliance roots rejection of shepard. 

bUT...they got a DLC that cleared a lot up. and had sexy time with the blueberry. we're just spinning and spinning... (goes around again)

They was dust in my eyes, yes, dust. And they are manly tears big, tough, manly tears. The funny thing is this IS the actually conversation that happened between me and my roommate at the time (Lishuss) He probably has a bigger Kaidan man-crush then I do. He is responsible for me drawing this and this. He has some Kaidan related pictures he wants to do and I've been beging him to put them to paper. His sense of humor is...odd.

It's funny because that's pretty much what happened with my boyfriend.
Except at the end he made fun of me. (he's just JEALOUS:bandit:)

I didn't cry at Horizon, but I did have a sort of Scarlet O'Hara moment "as God is my witness, I WILL fix this relationship..somehow" I did cry at virmire though :/

Or did you miss the bit where I was still discussion how Kaidan might have felt about Dude Shep? <_< Or as a whole discusing whether the whole rumors thing was a valid reason for his distrust of Shepard or heck even following the conversation at all?

Anyways as I was saying before Kaidan was vastly OOC with the anger at Shepard. It was understandable to me but I didn't fit with the calm, willing to let people explain their actions, guy from ME1.

Though for the Kaidan/Ash DLC (If it comes) do you think BW will give them interchangeable lines? I personally would've preferred the though of Kaidan and Ash having seperate DLCs that deal with seperate issues. (Ash with her family history (maybe with some Cerberus thrown in) and Kaidan with some alliance cover up that has to do with Cerbers

I actually liked his Horizon armour very much. I don't think I'd want to see him in a "ME2 superhero outfit."

Oh I love his Horizon armor even if bioware no longer acknowledge he wore light armor. I'm not opposed to the idea of Kaidan wearing heavy armor and being all badass with an assault rifle.

as long as he's still a biotic god of a sentinel, he can wear any armor or use any weapons his heart desires >_>

and yeah I'd rather have one DLC for both Ash and Kaidan (as I do have 1.5 playthrough where Ashley lived - .5 because its taking me that much effort to get to the point of Virmire, other playthrough was from masseffectsaves - aaaanyways), but lines and armors and ability usage should be unique to either character.

It's fine with me if the mission is interchangeable.  But their lines shouldn't be.

this. mission should be interchangable. can't imagine it not being, barring a few differences for their rank, history until now, etc. but lines should be different - at least as far as "relational" talks go. "shepard! get behind cover!" would be acceptable if used by both.
