so I guess it takes some major sweet talking to get Kaidan to open up. I like that
and now back to regularly scheduled Kaidan appreciation.

There was nothing that could be considered at all manly about my reaction.
Reaction no.1 - ''OMG, OMG, OMG, Kaidanz........................... Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee''
Reaction no2 - ''Bu...bu bu bu but.......... Kaidan? Kaidan.... ummmm, where are you going Kaidan..............................? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah''

I was angry and terrified throughout the Horizon mission. Angry at the Collectors and TIM for them being in that situation. I knew going into the mission that Kaidan was not going to be part of the ME2 squad and I was being to think the reason for that was because Kaidan was going to be taken. When the Collector ship launched and I still had not found any sign of Kaidan I just knew he was gone and it was not a race against time to get him back. When he appeared around the carters I literally breathed a sign of relief. Then he started yelling and calling Shepard a traitor and I was in complete stock. That comic is pretty much word for word what I was texting my roommate while this was happening. I didn't actually cry, I was just so stunned I didn't know what to do. I played Tali's mission right after that and kept dying because I couldn't concentrate.
That's pretty much what I felt. But, I was playing Meghan. I get a little involved in my characters. She was PISSED. Good thing I saved Avery for second.

@Kaidan's wonderful hair
I love his hair, it always reminds me of James Dean or Elvis Presley. I find it very cool and very vintage. *heavenly sigh*
Love this. Exactly why I love Kaidan's hair.

I think we'll get slightly more Kaidan action than Boone action in ME3, but not much. Boone's going to make quite a splash and all of that.

He went with me on most of my missions in ME1 along with Garrus. I was sad when he didn't join me in ME2... but I understand.
...he was hot..

Kaidan is amazing on missions, he basically covers any contingency for any class, so you can pick whatever second squad mate you want. not like you need them all that much anyways with Kaidan on your team.

Ah yes and they don't think that it might be for a good reason? Like I said. Refusing to think beyond the surface and acting like a child with a black/white morality.
You're there working for Cerberus. And to them, there is no reason good enough. Working with Cerberus is wrong because of the kind of organization it is, because you would then be supporting things like murdering Kahoku and luring Alliance soldiers to a thresher maws nest, albeit indirectly. I share that principle, so I can understand it. It's the same thing as Shep refusing to keep the base. Principle.
And they offer to hear you out in the letter, not at Horizon.
But, we're just repeating ourselves. You seem to be okay with working with Cerberus, the VS is not. It's really no more complicated than that. They don't share your principles.
If I could choose, I would never work for Cerberus. Ever. And I have a hard time respecting those who do. I am as "childish" as the VS in that regard. I don't have anything else to add to this discussion, but I'm thankful to you for sharing your thoughts. We just won't see eye to eye on this.

Although I do believe that the Alliance isn't sunshine and bunnies and that as much as Cerberus was an Alliance op that supposedly went rogue that they are in fact the way the Alliance has of doing things behind the Council's back. They can't get rapped over the knuckles because they have disavowed Cerberus, publically anyway. And if not then I think that either or all of Joker, Chakwas, or Jacob are Alliance moles, in place to keep tabs on Shepard, and Cerberus. Yeah I love conspiracy theories, lol.
And I don't buy that the VS was on Horizon to investigate missing colonists. I think there was more to it than that, because it makes no sense that they would send Ashley, who presumably has no tech skills, to get the Gardian lasers working.
And last but not least, angry Kaidan was pretty damn smexy, lol
