@ Catabuca - I'm starting to realize what some authors mean when they say that their characters grab them by short and curlies and dictate how they want the story to go, even if that's not what authors originally planned... and I'm not even a writer >_> I have Sheploos as well, making custom male shepards can be a bit...daunting without importing textures and the like. speaking of which one of the best male sheps I saw so far....has Kaidan's textures

I've tried to make 2 custom mSheps. The first -- well his head was too small. The second wasn't that bad, but dat voice ... it belongs to my Sheploo. I just couldn't complete the game

I have no such problem with fSheps though and love creating them. I never use default fShep.

(No custom textures either ... xbox 360 player.)

I might try the showdown, I've been ignoring Liara to avoid the romance. Just did Vimire again and decided to save Ash for all of 5 seconds and had to reload am wondering whether to play the mission but send Kaidan to the tower at the beginning so that I get to see that alternative showdown with Saren.

I've done it all: romanced Kaidan, turned him down from the beginning, turned him down at the last minute, and "renegaded" him. I always like to see all the options. That said, Kaidan is still my favorite character and tied (with Liara) for favorite romance storyline from the first game. Ash is just...ash... > I've romanced her just to see the progression of the romance, and hoo boy, what a disappointment. Girlfriend needs to work out her issues before hooking up with a superior officer.

you know, I have no problem with not romancing Kaidan and just being friends, I just have an issue with leaving him on virmire O_O my msheps save him as well.

/pouts. its hubby's usual day off...and he's sick, poor guy our dinner will involve chicken soup, teraflu with honey and possibly some hot chocolate after a bit.

Yes, I did the Ashley romance with my first mShep and somehow it did not work for me either. I was actually surprised. I always liked Ash, when I played femShep (ok - not into the poem reciting, but that's a minor quibble), but every time I left her at Virmire it broke my heart. So, I thought this would be a really nice romance. My mShep was Paragade - a tough guy with a heart of gold - and I thought they would fit brilliantly. But it never clicked. Ashley is all tough talk, but somehow the spark was missing.

For me, there was so much more tension between Kaidan and femShep. Some undercurrent - I don't know how to express it. Somehow Kaidan is more of a challenge for my femSheps than Ashley was for my William Shepard.

Perhaps it was actually mShep's fault. Perhaps I did not hit the right options with the dialogue wheel. Later, with Jack, my mShep had the possibility to be much more playful and tender.

Well, it only proves, for me, the Kaidan romance is the best. I wish, I had some sort of artistic talent. I would love to post some nice pictures of Sophia or Judith Shepard with Kaidan...

I´m running DA with alooot of mods, so I always romance both Alistair and Zevran, just can´t help myself Love them both.
Don´t have that problem in ME though, always just Kaidan..... ooooh, Kaidan <3:P
