so I was thinking (yes, I know a dangerous prospect) was doing a bit of research into human biotics and implants and stuffs and it occurred to me - humans are the only race that actually uses implants while all biotics use amps. so. it is possible that amps themselves should be worn somewhere close to the spine (or where the central nervous system is for races that don't have exactly humanoid features are there hanar and elcor biotics?), but they do not actually require external output jack? which would explain why none of the human biotics, including Kaidan have one visible? :)

would just prefer to think that hairbump is a result of very thick, unruly hair :)

From what I understand, all species have to get implants to make good use of biotics (except asari, who still use implants and amps to boost their natural biotics).  The problem with human implants is primarily that humans tried to go it alone before they had any idea what they were doing.

Still, Kaidan's amp jack doesn't have to be at the base of the skull.  Just because that's where I suspect it to be doesn't mean you have to agree with me - I know one person around here (...forget who ya are, my apologies...) had the idea of the jack being behind the ear.  :wizard:

you know, jack being behind the ear could be viable (for humans anyways) and would explain why its never visible (well other then the whole "we just didn't think to add it to character models" possibility)

these drawings of Kaidan are awesome. I think its a throw. He should have totaly used that instead of his rifle on Horizon :/ blarg.

Raphael Sbarge (voiced Carth Onasi in KOTOR and Kaidan Alenko in Mass Effect) will be voicing “Smuggler Companion”.

OMG!!!! I just stumbled over this! Oh, you just made my day. I've been planning on playing a smuggler as my first char anyway and now I will be able to hear this delicious voice!

And yes, I do have a hang-up on Sbarge's voice, I totally admit it. Sofar, only Alan Rickman's voice is even more sexy to me and he will probably never voice a Bioware LI. ;)

*Has to go for a lie-down now.*

It's particularly freaky you bring both of them up together, because for the longest time I'd get them confused with each other :pinched:

And if anyone wants a bit of Alan Rickman angst, may I suggest tracking down 'Truly, Madly, Deeply'. *omgsadpanda* D:

ikr? D:

If anyone does decide to watch it, it comes with a very, VERY strong warning that it may make you cry until you actually die of crying to death.

Further caveat - So definitely do NOT watch after completing Virmire or Horizon for light relief............ :crying:

Gotta tell you, I've got a thing for jaw-lines (specifically the part of the jaw at the side of the face, rather than necessarily the chin area ... yes, that is ridiculously specific, I know), and I like his. Oh yes. ^__^

Chignon, I love the beautiful Liara picture that you drew that Bioware has just posted on Facebook. Not sure how to paste it here, but maybe someone else could? It's really lovely.
