Hey, I guess we all see different things

(I'm very familiar with the differences in monitors, trust me there can be a huge difference ... I use professional calibration software on my monitor for my photography, so I've seen how wildly different pictures can look from monitor to monitor lol)

Not unlike my custom maleShep, who has blue eyes that only seem blue under certain circumstances.

I'm seeing it as violet. literally violet - sort of grayish purplish color with some warmth, I think that's why it might show as brown on some monitors - my new one is much brighter and generaly has higher resolution.

DA2 and happy thoughs on VS dlc =) that's what keep me going. I'm going to do LotSB with my shepard that romanced Kaidan tonight. *sigh*. It was a wonderful dlc when my shep had romanced Liara, it will be fun to see how it plays out now that Kaidan is the one romanced instead. If we indeed get Kaidan dlc and it is anyway near as good as LotSB I will be happy beyond words =) believe that they said that we would have to wait a few weeks for info so I guess that DA2 will keep me happy for the time being. Also got a new shep to romance Kaidan =) this time it will be a spacer. Hope that ME3 will make something out of Shepards background, that you will have something special regarding spacer, earthborn or colonist. I would love to introduce Kaidan to mom Shepard if it was possible =)

Yes. I would be quite happy if se can get a LotSB-type DLC for Kaidan. I remember snooping around Liara's apartment and wishing that we could look around Kaidan's home like that--to learn more about him, his likes, his dislikes, etc. *happy sigh*

I agree that them making more of your Shepard's background would be nice.

I didn't mind that. My femShep was just happy to have her friend back and my mShep was happy to have his one true love back. Liara is the first character in ME2 to ask (and care, not just to make sure she could complete the mission) how she was doing. Even Garrus and Tali seemed more focused on themselves and what Shepard could do to fix their lives for them (my Shepard's interpretation), rather than really caring for or supporting her like Kaidan, Ash and Liara did in ME1

Kaiden's quest might end up being about his past when he killed that turian.
Maybe omeone wants revenge, or it's based around his old crush...

Oh god yes, absolutely. It was almost as if Shep didn't have any pre-service history or background in ME2 *grumps*. The cynic in me guesses that it's even less likely to matter in 3 because there will be even more new players for whom the background means nothing. That sort of thing is only of great importance to those of us who played ME1, I think, because of the way it was integrated so well. Ugh.

Still, if I let myself be optimistic, perhaps it will matter more in 3 what with visiting earth and all.

So many unknowns.

I imagine Kaidan's apartment is very organized and clean. But I can see him having movie posters and such.

I actually just did Horizon a minute ago. I have always thought it would have been cool to stumble into Kaidan's quarters on Horizon.

I did that on Horizon, too--looked desperately for any sign of him.

I agree.  His apartment would likely be a bit Spartan.  Its not like he's home much.  And he's firmly military.  I agree that it would be standard furniture with a couple of pieces around that would show his personality/personal side.  Heck.  I'd even like snooping in his fridge to learn more about him.

I don't think that the DLC would have to do with his past.  He's dealt with it.  Its behind him.  Its more likely to be about a mission that the Alliance needs Shepard's help with.
I still think it would be nice if Kaidan/Ash helped Shepard out for once--that Shepard is in a jam and the VS comes to the rescue.  Please no more of the VS being a victim.
