Right, so, I think maybe I'm just in too far into "optimistic" mode, but there's a sentence in Retribution that can be read in such a way that it'd include Kaidan/Ashley.

Awww Kaidan and Ash look so sad down there on that shelf (well Ash looks more miffed, cant say I blame her). As an Ash fan and fellow VS lover I would like to add my support to this thread
