That's exactly what I though. Seeing this in the game would be... oh, man...  But great. Awesome, even.

I've got a question though. Kaidan got a  introduction in ME1 (talking with Joker on the Normandy), a  introduction in ME2 (yeah, pink isn't really his colour), and a  introduction in the PS3 comic (I'm not even going there). But how should he be introduced in ME3?

with biotics and guns blazing.  I'm thinking him and shepard could be investigatign the same...somthing and run into eachother while fighting and then fight their way out together, to have their reunion once the dust settles.  I'm thinking "legion sniping husks that were about to get shepard" style, except say some cloned krogan or maybe a bunch of batarians could be closing in on shepards when, bam!  biotic throw followed by gunfire and...Kaidan!

that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I would love something like that      hopefully being in a dangerous situation will remind Kaidan and my shep that they love eachoter and there is no time to waste about it. Keeping my fingers crossed that my little shep will have used the time post suicide mission to think of some good things to say to Kaidan. She wasn't too smoth on Horizon        I blame it on nerves       here's hoping for a good reunion.

Loving it! It's very in line with the ME2 intros, and I think the ME1 characters need that to "keep up".

I would also like it if he barges in on a meeting with the council (who are still brushing Shep off) with proof. But combat is better, I think. More badass.

Oh, I think he does care. I think he hates romancing my Vanguard (reckless bundle of crazy that she is) and is fighting like a madman to keep her safe. He's far more relaxed with my Infiltrator and my Adept, them not being insane and all, and I guess they are his favourites (he would probably love to learn about the cloak ability).

Kaidan loves Vanguards as much as the rest of them. Even if the whole... driving him crazy with their reckless insanity is true.

I don't think he'd personally have a preference, although being in a relationship with another biotic would certainly being an extra dimention to their interaction.

In the story I'm writing, I think I've settled on Sheploo being a vanguard. I want to explore that biotic connection, whether it'll lead to understanding between them, or whether it might at times cause friction (of the good or the bad kind ). Shep was always going to be a biotic of some kind, but I think him being a vanguard suits my image of him best, in light of his background and so on.

HA! Not insane Adept, you never seen Z. Shepard fight. She runs in to the middle of everyone, heedless of the fact all she has is a pistol and light armor. Then FOOM! it is clipping issues galore. I half way imagine Kaidan standing behind her face palming.

As for how Kaidan is introduced in ME3, I have this idea floating around in my head that Shepard needs to be in over her head somehow. And Kaidan rescues her for a change. I mean jeez how many times does she have to save him? First the beacon, then Virmire, then again on Horizon. I'm going to have to start calling him Princess Peach if he doesn't stop getting that fine ass of his in trouble!!!

I agree, J. Shepard is craaaazyyy on the battlefield. So i agree about the face-palming part
And I like the idea of him saving her for a change.

It was something along the lines of "I can spike higher than most L3s except for you commander."

I actually find it okay that Shep's class isn't mentioned, since it's something everyone on the ship knows and is used to. It's like Kaidan being a biotic, he just is. It's nothing special. he's a biotic soldier and so is Shepard and her class...


@Biotic_Warloc, actually yes, Shepard and Jack have the same implants in ME2 they're both L5x which is supposed to be pretty powerful.

I don't think Kaidan would care one way or another, part of his appeal is that he sees Shepard asa person, and not an alliance soldier.

according to what I've been told, all biotics have implants, ever asari it seems - something to do with having an input jack to connect amps to? /shrug

Most of us who have played a biotic (be it Vanguard, Adept, or Sentinel) have not been able to get the biotic spike speech from Kaidan while in an active romance. I have gotten it, oddly enough, with my Soldier Shepard after she turned off his romance.

Additionally, I support the idea that Kaidan is attracted to Shepard, regardless of "class", "background", or "psych profile". It's the uniqueness that is Shepard that he is attracted to.

Believe me when the reasons "Why?" were discussed at length for TSP: Persephone Rising.
