I've been away from the forums since a few days before the release of DA2 so that I could play it spoiler free.

Kaidan is still my favorite game romance as well.

I quoted Kaidan to mine once, though I don't think he realized that was what I was doing.  I did successfully get him to play ME1 but he played a male Shepard who went for Ashley so he missed out on Kaidan's adorable "I'd like that" he says to a femShep romancing him.  I think he *would* get it, though, if I said "Bunk here tonight, with me" as I believe that line is in both the Kaidan and Ashley versions of the night before Ilos.  What can I say, I approve of his taste in love interests (both pixellated and otherwise )

LOL, my husband asked me the other day if he should be jealous, made me laugh.

I'm sure DA2 has definately helped with the quietness around here, but mostly I think it's the lack of information about Kaidan.  What little they gave us in ME2 can only give us so much to talk about and for so long.  Maybe Arrival will have something new but I kind of doubt it.  I'm sure they think they've kept us waiting this long what's eight or nine more months.

Does anyone else think its odd that BW put a leaflet for Arrival in the DA2 box if its only going to be DLC? A friend was afraid that it might represent an expansion pack (afraid because it would be a lot more $ to shell out). If its an expansion pack story of Kaidan, that would be awesome!
If they go through all that trouble and no Kaidan, it would be awful.

Agreed, must have Kaidan if indeed an expansion. They might have just put the leaflet in there to pull those that played the game and have since moved on back into the ME universe. But an expansion would be awesome, if done right.

My Shepard likes to do some paragliding with the mako. It kind of plays like this in my head :

Shepard : WOOOOOHOOOOOO
Ash : *grins*
Kaidan : *cringes*

Well, I do now have a new favorite LI after playing DA2.

But Kaidan will always be one of my top 2 ME LIs.

Didn't they put a leaflet in Dragon Age: Awakening that turned out to be a web-based flash game or somewhat?

... if it were an expansion, they could at least include a cameo, though.  I dunno.  Leaflets are expensive these days.

There putting it in a disc case for another game did excite me.... does make it seem more important. But i suppose it is bridging DLC

They put an Arrival leaflet in the Dragon Age 2 disc case.

Hopefully the next screenshot for it will be released in the next couple of hours. Probably too much to hope for that it shows Kaidan or Ashley but I can dream!

Edit: Ooo they released screenshot #2 and no K/A but there is a mass relay on the monitor

Finished the DA2 yesterday, my nb. 1 favourite LI hasn't changed. And this is very pleasant to see this thread is keeping its style.
Arrival leaflet? Nothing like the leaflet in Awakening case, I hope?

I don't remember the leaflet in the Awakening case. It didn't look like something I was interested in. LOL.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through DA2 and my #1 and #2 LI's (Kaidan and Carth) have not been supplanted. However, Alistair and Zev have been bumped down the list for "Blondie."

I finished DA2, my no.1 LI still keeps his position, nothing changes. I love 'Blondie' but sorry, the game is just not as good as DA: O plot wise and romance wise...it's EA'd  

Hopefully they don't EA ME3 cause that'll just kill me.

I wasn't on ME forum for a moment and it's a nice surprise to hear about next DLC/expansion. Finally I was able to stay loyal to Kaidan ( sorry Thane ) with my main Shep and I hope for Kaidan ( Ash for those who want her) in this new story..I hope for something like LotSB, where ppl were able to stabilize theirs relationship with Liara before ME3, I want something similar for my Shep and Kaidan.

So I've been going around the forums and I noticed a lot of people calling Kaidan a whiner... I don't understand. He's a strong, dedicated military officer, thoughtful, fiercely loyal, a little shy, and not afraid to open up and speak his mind. How is that whining? (I'll bet people who call him that also have no idea what a migraine feels like)

MizzNaa - I'm sorry you feel sad. I hope the Kaidan hugs make you feel better!
