Really?!  You're missing out big time!

To answer your second question... I've never been officially diagnosed, but a couple times this semester I've had symptoms that match the descriptions I've seen of migraines: a throbbing headache, concentrated on one side of my head, accompanied by nausea worse than any I've ever had except *maybe* when I had appendicitis as a girl.  Fortunately for me, mine are are short, infrequent, and fairly mild as migraines go if that's indeed what is.  But it's still bad enough to put me entirely out of commission for the few hours until it goes away

Our one line story is good clean fun... okay well it is fun... start from the begining... end brings you to the end... just read along or add a line and help us move along... all are welcome and you don't need to be a writer to join in... just make sure you know where we have been....

AVI is how to personalize your avi like mine you need a PC or a really good friend.

KAAS pics will take you to the Kaidan Alenko Appreciation Society's Picture page and KA Pics will take you to my albums and the Kaidan album has pictures that you can use to post here (If you don't know how this is one of the things you can PM me for) or go to the Artist pages and pick some of theirs... they are really good!!!

Okay public service Anouncement done... But I have something extra to add today.

Come join us in our:

Kaidan Alenko Prompt Project

Approximately once a week we create a prompt to allow our Authors and Artists a chance to put there talents out there for a minor bit of competition. The winner gets to create the new prompt. So if you have always wanted to draw or write, come join us in the KAAS... just click on the link here and give it a go.

In order to give everyone a chance to get their ideas heard, we are adding something new to the prompt (which will start again on Monday March 21st).

So you don't write, you can't draw, and you can't use photoshop to save your life, but you have an idea for a prompt. You have a way you want to see Kaidan (And yes rules are that the prompt must be about Kaidan in some way, shape or form), that you want realized. Send that idea to me, and if the winner can't think of a prompt or doesn't want to make up the prompt (or if the winner is me), We will use one from the list that I have that people have sent in. We will eventually get to them all.

So want to participate, but you aren't a writer or artist? Have an idea that you think our artists or writers will enjoy writing about? Want to torture said writers or artists? Send in you ideas and, provided Kaidan in involved, and they make sense (yes, I need them to at least make sense), we will write about them.

I can promise you at least one writer will write your story if your prompt is picked.

Come on, let's have some fun!!!

Remember, any questions at all... Just ask me. a

Well no mention of Kaidan or Ashley but there's definitely an Alliance vibe to the Arrival DLC :)

If it has the Alliance, where are our favorite Alliance marines ?  Is bioware gonna ignore us again ?

Of course, we're acceptable losses, remember? <_<
I doubt more and more that the DLC will include Ash/Kaidan, it seems to be it only costs 560 BW/MS Points

I am hopeful there will be a little bit of screen time for the VS in the Arrival DLC because they are much higher ranked than they were during ME1. I wouldn't be surprised if Hackett was responsible for the orders to send the VS to colony as bait more or less for Shepard and the Collectors. I would hope that since this mission in Arrival is mega important they would be involved some how, even if they aren't on Shep's team.

I agree, I hate to say it and I soooo hope im wrong, but I think we Ash/Kaidan fans may be about to get shafted once again.

It does feel like were going to be ignored again. And it's gonna be pretty blatant if we are as there was liara dlc AND this dlc is dealing WITH THE ALLIANCE. Come on Bioware. Is it that hard to be at least kind of fair?

Did I read this right? Arrival will be available on the 29th, as in in 11 days? About it's content, I'm cautiously optimistic. We'll see...

Nought we can do but wait now. I'd like to see out VS but if you don't get your hopes up you can't be crushed *shrug*

It is pretty cool that Admiral Hackett is in it though. And if we do get ignored we'll just have to save our hopes til ME3. I'm still clinging to the 'the LI's from ME1 were too important to die in ME2' but either Shep gets Kaidan back or she ends up lonely they can't make me romance anyone. Fanfic will have to fill in the rest.

All I have to say is that if Arrival is Alliance-centric and the VS isn't involved in some way, shape, or form I am going to be royally pissed!

This.

I'll be thrilled if the VS is in the DLC but I've learned not to get my hopes up after several proir disappointments.

Would a line about their "shortsightedness" do for you? >_> Because this is what I'm expecting. What else can I say...

My sympathies, Joi. I never had migraines until college either, but since my mother got them, I had a pretty good idea what it was when they started happening. I read somewhere that migraines, perfect pitch, and dyslexia are all on the same gene, and all three of them run on my mother's side of the family. Advil has always worked pretty well for me, but it takes a while and I need at least three of them to knock it back. I also need to take meds as soon as I feel one coming on, stop it before it really gets cranked up, otherwise it's much harder to get rid. And I'm useless until they go away. Hope you feel better!!

Edit: I don't really have my hopes up for VS content in Arrival, but I'll be happy to get some new story, nonetheless. I do wonder who this "undercover operative" is, and I love Lance Henriksen, really missed his voice in ME2, so will be glad to see him in Arrival!

I think that if the VS was going to be in this at all it would be a major marketing point...considering that seeing Admiral Hackett's face seems to be the "cool thing" in this I think we'll all have to learn to live with disappointment ::sigh::

I've been pretty easy on BioWare when it comes to Kaidan (& Ashley). I'm still cautiously optimistic about this DLC.

...but like Joisan said, if this is all about the Alliance and there isn't anything to do with him? I'm going to be angry, for the first time.

I know.  I wasn't saying that I necessarily expect significant involvement of the VS, though I'm going to hold out hope until I hear from people who have played it exactly what there is.  Just that I'm going to be very upset.  Up 'til now there have been at least plausible reasons to continue to exclude them.  But if Admiral Hackett and the Alliance are involved in Arrival and Kaidan (or Ashley) aren't, that just smacks of a deliberate snub to their fans.

I don't know about the marketing point thing. Our whole problem is that Bioware doesn't seem to think the VS is anything worth mentioning. I do have a sinking feeling that the VS would have at least been mentioned if they were to be present, but I'm not giving up entirely yet.

I'm hopeful, but I'm also still in my DA2 stupor, so it may just be inherent optimism trying to drag me out of the black abyss.

Hrrm.

On the one hand, I recall speculation regarding the Shadow Broker files that Hackett would be getting a "deep cover operative" and that that operative would be Ashley or Kaidan. It was a theory I argued against, because the wording seemed to indicate the Shadow Broker was placing a man on Hackett, but judging by the announcement blurb... It seems that it was foreshadowing Arrival.

The fact that they don't tell who it is could be indicative of Kaidan or Ashley, because it could be hard to advertise for both of them at once. But it wouldn't bode well if they've gone missing in batarian space: Shepard would either have to rescue them (...again), or we'll find their dessicated corpse with a note attached saying "stop asking."

I don't know: it's possible the VS will be involved and it'd be the near-perfect reintroduction point to include them in some way in ME2, but... *shrug?* I remain uncertain. The thing that throws me off is that, obviously, rescuing that doctor is going to be important, but I kinda doubt she's an operative by the look of her.

Perhaps...Kaidan or Ashley are going undercover AS Dr. Amanda Kenson!!!

...

Yeah, I'm only hopefully that there is a decent mention of either of them, that doesn't force Shepard to put them down or disavow all knowledge of their prior relationship. Anything more than that will be an extremely pleasant surprise.
