Oh neither have I, but my husband get's testy if I don't romance liara every 4'th play-thou lol
My biggest problem in ME3 will be that my canon is true to Kaidan, but I am a sucker for Thane - just something about that drell, my Shep just wants to romance him lol

Thing is, I always say "I care about Kaidan. A lot," to which she says, "I thought so. Still I feel as if there is also some attraction between us, Shepard." Liara knows you love Kaidan. She just doesn't caaaaaaaaare.

I've been with the thread since the very beginning as well and we've always posted Kaidan at the top of the page.   Not to worry....

About the cheating I think it could be like you said above and that will be harder for him to join or maybe to restart the romance. Anyway I think we will have different dialogue options for cheating/not cheating...

I would love to see a passionate kiss like Anders' kiss in DA2...that would be<3<3<3...*sighs and starts to melt*...

And there it is, something new and way less confusing for me to focus on...Kaidan kissing sounds...Sbarge grunting and moaning....um...*dives into the gutter*

I used to always take the special line but lately I love telling Liara that I'm taken. I've never done the bottom option though. Does anyone know what Shepard says exactly when choosing that?

Anyway, Velina still thinks it is worthy to have Kaidan holding her is his arms.....

I don't see it as much of a rule...it's more like tradition. The one on top *distracted again* ...gets to start the new page with a yummy Kaidan...or two...:innocent:

Anyway, I always pick Kaidan, I never even glance at the new LIs..which is my loss, I know, but I just can't. I romanced both Alistair and Zevran in DA:O without a care in the world, and tried both male LI's in DA2 though just once before sticking to Fenris but I'm not as attached to him or Hawke as I am Shepard and Kaidan. Same for my Warden really, hardly any attachment.

Shepard feels 'mine' and Kaidan just pushes all the right buttons for me, so yeah I really enjoy seeing the two of them together. I don't have any annoyances with Kaidan other than not having more of him  That's a big difference with all the other LI's in the different games, they don't tick all of the boxes for me..there's always something about them that makes me sigh...in the bad way. Whether it's the handwalking I'm too old to do, or the drama I have no patience for anymore, I don't know. 

Kaidan his the right buttons for me because the romance is more natural. There's the flirting, the sexual tension, the just talking, the respect, the conflict etc etc. He speaks his mind and doesn't always agree with Shepard. Neither does he need her to fix everything for him, he can take care of himself and doesn't need her to make his descisions. But neither does Shepard approach him like that, so yes I love my girl as well
That's what I find so refreshing and what makes Shepard and Kaidan my all time favourites

I so much agree with you about the Shep-Kaidan romance.

For DAO I am an Alistair lover so Zev is still waiting for my next run..... for DA2 i am still trying to romance anders...i will eventually...i think
None of them would stand a chance tho if i had the option to romance a certain NPC, in both games

but for ME....its kaidan for me all the way.......and for a woman waiting almost 4 years to have her happy ending with her bf...i will say only one thing: that's dedication

LOL...I think my husband will make a party when it's over...And I really think we deserve our Happy End after years of suffering with our Shepard.

Same here, about RL years  Don't recall how many years passed between the BG games (rl years) but I love having a main character that's with you for so long. You play said character through the released game over and over again while waiting for the confirmed sequel to continue her story...and when there are companions who take the journey with you, it's just so much better. I can't imagine the Normandy without Joker and Chakwas and even though I had to go through ME2 without Kaidan as my Shep's right hand, he was there in spirit. Hence why I refused to bring the Cerberus squadmates with me the first few times and always brought Garrus since he was and is my Shep's left hand

Having them both at Shepard's side again in ME3 is just amazing...full circle indeed

@Aslan YES! Dunno what Bioware considers to be a Happy Ending, but I'm hoping we're on the same page about that one

Yeah, that's what I really hope and since I'm an optimist, I think we will get our reward Maybe I just wear pink glasses, but I really believe everything will work out for us in the end.

I remember when I relalized that we are forced to work with Cerberus, I was really frustrated and I didn't want to have anything to do with the Cerberus Crew at all. I remember how happy I was, when I realized, that Joker, Garrus and Dr. Chakwas were with my Shepard and while my Shepard's heart was longing for Kaidan, she had at least some of her old companions around to help her through the time without Kaidan ...Well, they did it at least in my imagination...^^
