I'm going to wait for a release date and then gradually try and not come on here too often. I want to know enough but not so I know step by step whats going to happen.
My first playthroughs always end up with me doing a big mistake which annoys the hell outta me, but then when I replay I know what to do and then I count my second playthrough as my "real" one.
DA:O/DA2 tricked me a few times were as ME1/2 I always did a perfect first run through.
But I got a feeling ME3 could do a DA and have different consequences...
What I would love is some videos of Kaidan in game or a trailer with him in it, but knowing our luck it probably be Ashley more but with the screenshot being of him rather than her I can hope.
*fingers crossed*
OT, but my first playthrough of DA2 was a total failure choice wise. I tend to want to keep all my allies loyal and happy, but I ended up with super high rivalry with most of my companions, and accidentally sent some of them away. Strangely enough, the high rivalry was quite the turn on for Merril though because me treating her like dirt didn't make her not want to sleep with me.
That game frustrated the hell out of me to be honest, because people would totally ignore my Hawke's wishes and go do what they liked, wether it was dabbling with blood magic or sneaking into the chantry to kill people. More like real life I guess, but IRL that would have made me not include them in my party any more. But that's for another thread.
My playthroughs of ME and ME2 were pretty good even the first time though...Accidentally killed Tali because I did not listen to the instructions in the suicide mission well enough, but otherwise I made the choices I believe were correct. I tend to stick to the paragon choices which usually turns out pretty good. I agree with you though, in some games it is very easy to do something you think is correct but end up regretting it when you see the result.
Still not sure about if some of the ME2 choices I made were the wise ones...like Mordin's and Legion's loyalty missions. It sort of feels like in ME3 any choices you've made will come back to bite you in the backside no matter what you chose.
