Agreed...I thought the stuff with Liara backseat driving Shep in LOTSB was hilarious. I'd love to see a scene where most of the crew are arguing about who HAS to go with Shep when she drives the hammerhead or mako...each making excuses as to why they can't come right then.

Yes    =)     I would be beyond happy happy if there was some fun partybanter in ME3. I love how it is used in DA2 and I fully agree on the banter between LOTSB. That was one of the things that I really enjoyed about that, dlc, banter and the humor. Shepard complaining that Liara shouldn't give the people shooting at them any new bright ideas for attacs and so forth.
Romancing Sebastian with my current Hawke and I must say that I miss having romantic banter so if there was a little bit of Kaidan-banter in regards to his realationship with Shepard it would be great. Are they togheter, did shepard stay faithful. If she didn't how is that changing things between them. Yay for banter      

Yes! The party banter in LOTSB is amazing and really makes the DLC shine. I really hope that's the level of dialogue they're shooting for in ME3. I found the banter in ME2 lacking, espeially after having played Dragon Age about five times in a row. I missed the elevators in the first game simply because your squadmates always talked about really weird things. 

I'd love it if the Shepard//Kaidan dialogue addressed the time spent apart, the state of their relationship, etc. I want it to be emotional, because it should be emotional. I really want to know if his beliefs or thoughts have changed from ME2 when he accused Shepard of betraying everything they stood for. Maybe a good shouting matching followed by some sexy business!

I wasn't too concerned that they wouldn't bring Sbarge back but I think some people said they did change Anders voice from Awakenings(which I didn't play) to DA2...I'm glad to at least see the confirmation.

Yeah i was following someones thread the other day where someone asked casey on twitter if joker would finally get some romance, to which casey replied something along the lines of 'having it covered'. That kinda made me squee, although i hope its a shep romance and he doesn't run off with one of my crew/team, that wouldn't be good (i might have to take to shooting anything human in unfortunate places to soothe my rage).

Lol i'd also have a massive rage fit if they changed Kaidan's VA, sbarge's voice is just sooo lovely. Loved it the first time i head it playing KOTOR, haven't stopped adoring those sexy, sexy tones yet!

@Michelle7:  It just wouldn't be Kaidan without Sbarge's voice.  That voice is so swoon-worthy!

@Character makeovers:  They can makeover the other characters.  But I really hope that they don't remove all of Kaidan's facial texture and scars--at least without giving a good in-game explanation as to why/how his looks changed.  The couple of photos that I've seen of Kaidan have him looking so much younger and his face looking smoother.  I love that Kaidan is in his mid-30s.  And there was a definite aging of him between ME and ME2--like those years had been hard on him--losing Shepard, throwing himself into becoming a Spectre.
I'd really love to have him sit down with Shepard and tell her about what she missed in his life in the past 2-1/2 years.

EDIT:  And MORE LI's?  Goodness.  Aren't the 9 pre-existing ones enough already?  I mean, really, who needs anything more than Kaidan?  He's the best male LI in a video game ever!

I don't think they will de-age Kaidan; in the Shep-Kaidan-Liara cap he still has lines on his face, and scruff; the lighting in that image washes him out a little. If you compare him to Liara, she's more shadowed and it makes her look quite a lot older than she does normally. But you can see the lines around his mouth and on his forehead (although I had to zoom in a lot to see them all... and let me tell you, closely examining Kaidan's face was extremely onerous... ).

Here is the promo image enlarged with the curves tweaked to make it darker, it's easier to see the lines on his face. And I couldn't really tell if the scar under his lip was still there, but it looks like he might have one on his chin that I don't remember seeing before.

You know, I would have paid for ME2 DLC where Kaidan/Sbarge just reads the Citadel phone book or something. My Shepard really needs a Kaidan VI to read her mail aloud to her.

Thanks for posting the blow-up of the Spectre Kaidan. That makes me feel better. He's not losing the history and character in his face. I hope the little scars on his left lower lip is there too.
I suppose some would see the scars as making him less perfect. But to me, they are part of him, part of his history cut into his skin. I would have hated to have lost them.

I'd LOVE seeing Kaidan in combat, along with Liara.  More squadmate info would be nice, too, but I have the feeling that they'll be dragging out the "who's in as a permanent squadmate" suspense for a long while.

E3 is June this year! Specifically, June 7 - 9. I'm so jealous of everyone that gets to go! I'm holding out hope for something awesome at PAX, however.

Is that Danny Pino?  I remember seeing Cold Case a while back and thinking he looked a bit Kaidan-esque.  

I would love to know the artist's inspirations for creating both Ashley and Kaidan.  To me, they're more interesting than the creation of the aliens in ME1.

As would I... just thinking about it makes me want to groan. I can't remember who bought the movie rights, but I sincerely hope that if they feel they must follow through and produce something, they don't do a story about Commander Shepard. Otherwise I'll be forced to go ballistic and punch the person in charge in the face. The whole idea behind Shepard is that he//she is your Shepard.

I about died when the ship left and that freaking maitenance guy was shouting at me to do something and then, right around the corner, Kaidan

Lol every faithful playthrough of ME2 i do, which is about 3 now i keep the email marked as unread throughout most of it, so its easy to find and go 'dawwwww' over, then i make sure its classed as read before the SM, call me paranoid too!

Gosh, I played through the first part of ME2 with a very rushed feeling, despite checking everything to see if he was there Even came here to check when he was supposed to appear and when I knew that I rushed through to get to Horizon. The moment the cutscene started and he said "Lilith!" it felt like a weight dropped off my shoulders and I was grinning ever so stupidly.
It's funny how you can, personally, build up the suspense after so long a time. I just as eagerly wanted to see my Shepard back on screen, meet Garrus again, talk to Joker and Chakwas and one of the first things I did was head for the Citadel to speak to Anderson. It's like being reunited with long lost friends, characters that you keep talking to on every playthrough of both ME1 and ME2, characters that you know for a long time now.
Kaidan, as a LI, and Shepard, as 'my' character, are just special and seeing them together again in ME3 will be wonderful

I just fear what Bioware will do to some of the characters we've known for all these years now, to create a dramatic impact. If any harm should come to those characters in ME3, I will be heartbroken...and I have a feeling that's going to happen. Not that I believe they will kill off a LI, but any of the regulars....yes, I can see that.
I'll be really focused on my first ME3 playthrough, that's for sure...but no matter what, it's going to be one major emotional rollercoaster...either in a good way, or really bad.

Agree about Sbarge's voice...wouldn't be Kaidan without him.

Also agree on the new LI's...kinda got me worried that some of the spoilers they've released thus far are feelers to see how people respond and that they my change things as they go depending on how people respond because I thought one of the previous spoilers said no new LI's. I prefer quality over quantity...I hope they don't spread everything too thin trying to please everyone to the point that everything is covered but lacking to some degree.

So it looks like some of the spoilers really are a way of testing the waters...keeping my fingers crossed that the haters voices don't overpower the Kaidan fans. Thankfully after his new pic there are more of us now.
