Yeah.  Yours showed up after I edited mine.  LOL.  But more Kaidan is always good.

If such an ending was as well-done as the KotOR ending you reference... I would melt into a sobbing pile of fangirl goo.  I would still consider the happy ending my canonical one, but I would go for the sad ending once or twice just because I'm a sucker for heart-rending angst  (Yes, I actually kind of liked that there was no easy out with Alistair in DA:O)

Whatever happens to the VS is probably going to be seperate from the fact that they might be our LI. The LI stuff will just be extra(hopefully good stuff)...so there could be an ending where the VS dies whether they are the LI or not. Keep the tweets up...I haven't been looking all that much at them since I got my game...just every once and a while. If you see anything interesting that might have a little insight on Kaidan please post it...I usually check back here before I check there when I'm paying better attention.

Ah. Pre-E3 okay.

And Jewel: I always play light side at first too. Always LS in KOTOR. The DS ending in question was cut for time or resources or something. They should have kept it. I might have actually done a DS playthrough for that ending. *sigh* I love Carth. But even Carth couldn't get me onto the forums. Only Kaidan did that.

I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't a Carth fan back when I first played KOTOR. I wasn't a video game romance fan in general, back then.

But Denouement really sold me on him. THIS SHOULD BE CANON.

Absolutely agree. Kaidan is the sexiest VG character I've encountered. The only other male character I can think of that would give him a run for his money is Anders from DA2 (not Awakening). Kaidan's still the winner, hands down 

Anders is up there.  I love his passion.  But there's a wide gap between the Sbarge men and anyone else, though.  Anders is #3 for me. 

@Kaidan with a touch of grey--I agree.  It would be hot.

If Anders had Sbarge's, I think I'd overload from the awesome. Kaidan will always be my number one though, because his story and past make him more intriguing for me than the others. Not that Anders' backstory isn't eqally compelling, I'm just a sucker for Kaidan's sci-fi, lost love, skeletons in the closet past. 

And that voice ... 

If Kaidan has even the tiniest hint of grey hair, I will melt into a puddle of squee on the floor. Just at the temples? So hot.

I really think game developers underestimate the power of the older man aka the silver fox.

With the endings, I'm hoping for a system like in DA:O with having self sacrifinng/bad/happy ending(well without Kaidan having to sleep with someone?!?! ARGH)

I don't think I could sacrifice Kaidan or anyone tbh...

I am a sucker for fairytale endings, hopefully there will be a chance...

If the game asks me to sacrifice Kaidan, I might turn off the console in order to absorb the shock. And then never turn it back on again. Ever. Especially if it's a fixed ending. I don't think I could handle that. My poor little hopelessly romantic heart might explode. 

However, if it's not a fixed ending, but merely one of many endings, I could handle that. It sure as hell won't be my canon ending, however. 



I wouldn't mind having this waiting for me outside of the shower on the Normandy

No...no sacrifice please...I had to endure that with Ashely. If Shepard can save the whole crew in the SM in ME2, then she sure as hell can save Kaidan.
