I have one as well - with Jacob though and I'm honestly still not sure how its going to turn out in ME3 for them.  I keep wavering

@ Sia - anyone who has read "Loved"  wants Meghan to stay with Garrus, becasue of how you wrote those two.  I won't threaten bodyly harm, but you know my opinion on the matter

Kaidan will always have Avery, though.

I am curently playing Shepy wich will be unfaihful... she has hots for Thane... But it breaks my heart, lol... at least I am writting some letters from one of Shepys to Kaidan and from Kaidan to that Shepy, not that that helps much. O_O

Wasn't tempted in ME2, but I am definitely interested in seeing how the confrontation scenes are written for the various characters.  And I will be probably be replaying the whole series with a new Shepard once I'm done with my "canon" Shepard's story.  I think I feel like I'm cheating on her when I get too involved with other Shepards.

Yes on my current playthrough I will try it, but make a back up save in case the whole thing blows in my face. I'll probably end up playing both saves to the end too since I love this game XD 

The more I think about it the more I am convinced they won't make Kaidan totally hate you for seeking comfort for someone else but maybe getting him back will just be harder or explosive...  And that would be fun to see, after Horizon I've perversely become fond of angry Kaidan. 




What now? You're going to make me cry Shepard?

lol =) great to know that I'm not the only one who are aiming to see how it turns out in ME3 =)

Just took my ME-playing to a new lvl of nerddom. Have finally made a diagram of classes, LI:s and who was saved in the SM. Try to lose a couple of different people every time so that each Shep in ME3 will have something different from the one before. Think I'll make one more Kaidan-faithful before the unfaithful one. Hubby was very amused by my planning on which squadmemers would die in on the next Shep.

"Hmmm.... Jacob has always made it so far, then he goes in the next one", places a x in the Jacob-column.

You're giving me the idea of seducing Jacob and then setting him up to die... Oh snap.
But then that would destroy the love triangle I was going for. Hmmmm..

I must find out all possible endings so I have a few playthrough Sheps that told him where to stuff it.
They were actually my primary shep with different faces; I hope that doesn't mess up my ME3 play through.

I am doing some experimenting for the sake of story in ME3.  All 3 of my femsheps love Kaidan and will always love Kaidan.

Kimbri stayed completely faithful.

Kitty is going to fall into a relationship with Jacob because she's angry after Horizon and Jacob's the only human on the ship (she's more than a bit Xenophobic).

Kara is who I really need input on for you all.  I have her in a relationship with Thane.  She's crushed after Horizon and finds friendship in Thane, which build to more than that.  When I played through, I couldn't go through with the consummation though.  She still felt that would be a betrayal.
After the Omega-4 relay, though, what do you suggest?  I want to see the differences between faithful, unfaithful and in between with my 3 girls.  Should she continue an unconsummated relationship with Thane?  Or should she turn Thane down, realizing that Kaidan is the only one for her?  Or should I go back and be unfaithful but dump him right after (at which point I think that Kaidan's pic would pop back up)?
Your opinions would be appreciated.

I think it would be interesting to try one of the scenarios where the pic pops back up, because I think that's the closest to the in-between. Does the game recognize a difference between someone who was completely faithful and someone who initiated a relationship and then ended it? I'll be interested to find out.

I have one save thats faithful (my canon shep) and another two with Thane and Garrus. Now I can get the comic I might only import unfaithful Shep with Garrus (it's more fitting I think) and create a no-romance for Thane. Don't think I want guilt on top of him possibly dying.

I'm really intrigued as to when and how the scenario is going play...."worst possible time" uh-oh

But Kaidan does tend to be a more sensitive male also and where her heart is might matter more.
And yes.  It is hard to hurt Thane.  I hate the "I can't love a dying man" paraphrase.  That's not why Kara would break up with him.  Its more because her heart truly belongs to Kaidan and always will--not that Thane is going to die.  That just seems cruel.

Ah!  Good point.

And when I tried out ending it with Thane (unconsummated), Kaidan's picture popped right back up again.  I would assume that it would for unconsummated as well if you dump the ME2 LI.  But I will try it out for sure with Jacob when Kitty is done with her playthrough (although I won't keep that one--I want a love triangle in one of the games.  I also would like to see Kaidan wipe Jacob all over the floor.  )

THAT is what would make romancing Jacob realy worth doing... seeing exactly that in ME3.

I don't even think that Kaidan's going to throw a tantrum. I think he's going to be ridiculously chill about femShep's new relationship, and act like if she wants him back, she's going to have to bow and scrape for his attention.

I mean, I don't think that he'll actually be cool with it, but I'll bet that he acts cold towards femShep if she "moved on" to someone else. And if she tries to get close to him, he'll angrily admit that she hurt him, and that he's just not sure if he can trust her any more, not after everything that's happened. Cerberus, Aratoht, and new lover? Oh yeah, trust me, Kaidan's going to be extremely withdrawn.

Well, tantruming Kaidan could be would be fun to watch... biotics flaring and so on. But yea, we most probably wont see that as KawaiiKatie said. Kaidan withdrawn? Absolutely so. He will probably be as such even if FemShep stayes patiently loyal... oO
