"Mass Effect 3 might be about big-scale battles and the fate of all worlds, but there's still time for love. There's an epic battle for Shepard's heart, after all. If you were suave in Mass Effect 1 and 2, then you have two love interests, both vying for you as worlds are about to end. This love triangle will be resolved by the end of Mass Effect 3, so look forward to walking off into the sunset with Liara. I mean, seriously, who else would you want to be with -- Kaidan?"
Shallow dig aside, it almost sounds like a continual confrontation. I only hope it's not nearly as childish as it sounds. <_<
Well, the writer is a dude, so I'd cut him slack...but GEEZ. Those sort of digs imply that female gamers don't exist, and we see that way too much in gaming journalism. It's one of the reasons I despise most of those who chose that occupation so much. There are a few stellar exceptions to the rule, like N'gai Croal, and Kristine Steimer, but generally we have to read articles written for fourteen year old boys, in the voice of fourteen year old boys. It gets old really, really fast.
/rant over.
I see that Liara and Garrus are the team in the first demo...still hoping to see Kaidan in action in one of the other three.
