You know, just now, before I read forward, I had a HOLY CRAP, ASH'S BOOBS! moment. 

Anyway.  When the hell did Ash, Liara, and Kaidan ever line up working Navigation like that?  Or... are they social networking or... what?  You know, that doesn't even look like the Normandy. 

No, it looks like the SR-2.  As does the briefing room.  I highly doubt whoever wrote or drew for this comic ever played the original game.

I have my doubts about that, too.

What bothers me the most about the comic, even more than the obvious SHOVE towards Liara as an LI, and even more than not even *mentioning* the geth, is that there is nothing about Cerberus...which will cause even more hate towards the Virmire Survivor when they meet them on Horizon and have no idea why they're yelling at them for working with that awesome group.

I hope everyone is prepared for the influx of trolls to this thread, because I can't imagine any PS3 players actually liking Kaidan or Ashley after playing that comic and ME2.

Tis comic is a joke. I will pretend like I never watched it or that it exists. Makes me to feel like a pedobear because my Shepard slept with that "good naive kid Kaidun dun" lulz whut? Dark Horse comics makes me terrible sick aswell about some chars mostly Liara. I didn't mind her but now I am starting to think sadly that All LIs will never be equal is she is not dead because she and her romance is atm mary sueish high above of all LIs and that is only romance which is right and true and others romances suxs and are not so important like they all ended before they begun. That they made this of my favourite char I would not be proud and happy aswell I would give up from that char honestly. This is just terrible what they are making of her trough the comic and I just started to like her after Lotsb. I will try to keep that picture in my head. Next Dlc Ashley and Kaidan must be...to make things a little bit "equal" and I want that it makes me vomit of awsomeness...

Sadly, I think that the Kaidan and Ash threads were going to have a new influx of trolls whether this comic dealt with Cerberus or not. There's no way the comic could give you the same feeling as actually finding and breaking up Cerberus' operations in ME1, or finding Admiral Kohoku dead on a Cerberus base. You do, however, spend all of ME2 working for Cerberus, which makes them the default "good guys" to anyone who never played ME1.

Honestly, I think the treatment that Cerberus got in ME2 angers me more than the lack of attention to the Virmire Survivors. I don't like not getting to see the VS, but I can handle it. What really irritates me is how all the horrible things that we KNOW Cerberus is responsible for seems to get swept under the rug or explained away as being the work of "a few bad apples." Shepard doesn't even really put much effort into challenging Miranda's views on Cerberus. It would have been nice to at least have the option of putting up more of an argument with her, kind of the way you can argue with Ash and Kaidan in ME1 and eventually change their views slightly.

Anyway... because I'd like to see the thread veer back to discussing Kaidan somewhat: If Shepard stays with Cerberus, do you think it should be possible for her to change Kaidan's views on Cerberus, the same way he can be "hardened" in ME1? Or, do you think that Kaidan's views on Cerberus should be so deeply held that they can't be changed?

Honestly, as someone who renegaded Kaidan in ME1, I wouldn't support the idea of him being okay with Cerberus. There's a difference between mistrusting the Council and saying that Cerberus is the answer.



My best hope is that we will be independent of any faction in ME3. That way we can do whatever we want.

With this comic my main char who thinks that 1) Kaidan (Kaiden? Hell, I don't know anymore) is the most mature person she ever met 2) mind-melding with asari, which reproduct in similar way, isn't the most pleasant, at least mentally, experience for heterosexual woman 3) rachni queen is a powerful ally for possible "plan B" in case of betrayal by Council/Alliance 4)Wrex doesn't deserve to be insulted and far not violent 5)both humans and aliens can be saints and jerks, but 95% are still jerks feels herself a bit out of story.

I so strongly hope that DLC will be announced simultaneously with PS3 release, because in other case trolls (grabs a pitchfork) ... nevermind

First scenes on Eden Prime:

After the mind meld with Liara:

"Ashley was a bit concerned of the connection I shared with Liara. As a Commander I knew either relaionship had the potential to interfere with the mission."

Then you can pick between Liara, Ash or the mission. I guess it'll work the same way for FemShep.

After leaving Kaidan on Virmire:

"Kaidan was a good man and a good soldier. But I had to chose and I chose Ash."

On the way to Ilos (and possibly even more cringeworthy than the rest):

No, I don't want his view on Cerberus changed - he saw with his own eyes what Cerberus did to innocent people. I think even a renegade Shepard will never trust Cerberus.

I think Kaidan will finally understand Shepards reason for dealing with the devil, so that the Collectors could be stopped, but I would like to see him pushing Shepard away from Cerberus. Instead of Shep always persuading others and talking a green wall red, I would like to see Kaidan persuading Shep of easing ties with Cerberus.

It pictured as you saved woman who made a mistake and later she is as jealous that breaks into Shepard's little happiness with as intelligent as beautiful Liara? If Ash were my favourite LI, I'd be awfully offended by the lack of portraying of start of relationship?

There was a moment ig where Ash was concerned about Shep and the melding, and there was a moment where Kaidan was concerned about Liara. Maybe they will play that card.
Both situations had nothing to do with romance.

Yes...at the point where you have to choose a love interest, Ashley has not gotten a close up, and all we know is that one sentence description of her.  Meanwhile, Liara is being "talked up" and displayed in a number of panels in a "sexy" way.  I'm sure it will be the same for FemShep.

At this point, my only hope for a good role for Kaidan and Ashley in ME3 lies in the upcoming DLC.  If it has nothing to do with them, I'm going to have to stop coming to this forum until real information starts getting released for ME3.  It's getting too depressing.
