A few people around the interwebs have always complained that Ashley is ugly (no idea where they got that sort of idea from), so I'm gonna guess that this is the attempt to make her down with the kids by baby-powdering her into a catsuit and hoping for the best in terms of realism.

TBH I think we got a 'lot' already with the magazine spread, the screenshot and concept art etc. Kaidan was shown in the first images from ME3 and now Ashley in the first really big presentation, I think the VS have been treated pretty darn well. I would love more Kaidan too but I think they are doing a good job letting the characters take turns so far, there are still characters with no exposure what so ever but we saw some new familiar faces in the spotlight

The CE will even have an appearance pack for Kaidan! I mean...WOW...Kaidan/Ash, Liara and James...that's just awesome

Also, are those seriously the dress uniforms? They look like leather to me? O_o I think I'm lost and confused.

What they did to Ash makes me glad I Virmired her. I liked her fine the way she was in ME1, she looked like a soldier there. I don't need her to become a Miranda copy. I think it's about time Shepard implicated some dress codes on the Normandy- no jumpsuits or skin-tight armor.

I guess, but a lot of people said the same thing about Miranda....well until the clip where she unzipped her suit came out anyway I even showed her to my bf and asked him if he thought she was ugly because so many people on the forums were complaining she was

About Ash's gloves, good one! Now here's to hoping the appearance pack is like Miranda's too and we get to slap some armor on Ash

Was just thinking....there's one good thing about Ash's catsuit; we don't have to worry about Kaidan sharing her armor anymore like he did at the start of ME2

Ah, now I see Alliance emblem on ship. First time my sight tricked me and I've seen Normandy in the Cerberus colours, so decided Alliance didn't touch anything yet.
Ah, about the Normandy arriving - female voice, then Anderson says "Lieutenant!". To Ashley (and this means another promotion to her and, maybe, to Kaidan) or to Joker?

Ooh, they have to do something along those lines. That would be rather nifty. Especially for some sort of reunion/things returning to pre-Ilos stages of romance.

All I can say is that I'm glad Casey said that was Ash...didn't want to hear people claiming it was some new character all the way to release date.

lol you're right...it can be spelled out for them in black and white and they still won't believe it. Kinda glad he said it for my sake as well though...I probably wouldn't have recognized her right off the bat if he hadn't...had to do a double take. The hair made a big difference for me...guess I was just so used to the bun.

I don't mind female chars wearing heels, but only on the condition that femshep gets heals and a kickarse outfit too! Mind you i enjoy that purely for the silliness factor, i totally understand why it annoys so many people

It's a plain alliance uniform so I thought it was Vega.
Seeing as he has a helmet on like the guy next to Ashley on the earth combat video.
