I wish they had a Director of Fandom or someone we could send the info to let everyone know Kaidan has won over many hearts.  He's the most complex character in the  ME series. 

I'm very hopeful.  They planned on Mass Effect being a trilogy from the start.  Hopefully, there are big plans for Kaidan and he won't get less time in favor of some of the other LIs.  I remember reading that Horizon was a way to make sure the VS/LI didn't die during the suicide mission and was around for  ME3.  I want an epic conclusion to their love story along with the fight to save earth, kill the Reapers, stop Cerberus, etc..

It's only now that I notice the tiny scars on his lower lip. I haven't been ogling him enough, apparently. This must be remedied...

And we have all been dreamy-faced over them for a while, haven't we....  

It can depend on your screen resolution, tbf, nranola, maybe you had a different screen? I know you can't really see them on an SDTV......... But they are very noticeable on a good HDTV

Ahh, that makes sense. Does he mention the scars at all in any bit of dialogue though? Just curious, since I've never come across it myself thus far - I get the "getting hit by a turian in the face" bit but no direct reference to the scars.

Yeah, that's probably it. I used to play on an LCD screen running on a five year-old video card and a small screen resolution; I've upgraded to better specs recently.

It's never been established, as far as I  know.  It's just what most people assume.  (Either from the knife comment or "turian punches leave those kinds of scars" rationales).

I am just doing Legion's loyalty mission and Shepard just said something that striked me ( and probably reading too much into):

"When individuals spend a long time apart they grow differently, and when they get back together sometimes they are too different to get along"

D: Foreshadowing? Especially with the devs saying Ash/Kaidan are different people now, after 3 years... I guess the romance just won't be let's talk for 2 minutes and get in each other's pants.. *pout*

I, for one, will be incredibly annoyed if there is absolutely no way to expedite the "let's get back together" process. I'm not saying that Shepard and Kaidan need ot be in each other's pants two minutes after they reunite, but I really don't want to spend most of the game on bad terms with Kaidan, especially after I stayed loyal to him.

I understand that a lot of femSheps are upset with Kaidan after what happened on Horizon, and even if they stayed loyal, they're eager to role play out the hurt and drama that they went through. I absolutely agree that Shepard should have that option, if that's how your Shepard feels. But if mine is ready ot move on and find some comfort in Kaidan's arms, there should be a "forgive and forget" option, too.

I do not want to have to jump through hoops to get back on Kaidan's good side. I jumped through enough hoops all through ME2, while I made absolutely certain to never flirt once with anyone else, even being unneccassarily mean to Thane and Kelly in the process. Yes, Kaidan may have changed over the past three years, but I'm ready to rediscover him. Oh boy, am I ever.

I feel you, I don't expect Kaidan to be too easily re-smitten but at the same time I want to spend as much time with him as possible and I'd love for the cute flirting to be back in some way. Things are a lot more dire now and time as passed so the dynamic won't be the same exactly, but hopefully we still get that old Kaidan-ness back.

edit: I'd like to see a deeper relationship develop with the long standing LIs, it would be disapointing if it was treated as a completely new courtship. *fingers crossed*

That's pretty good! I think there might be something off with the head a bit in proportion to the body, but I don't do manips so I can't tell you more. It's a very good first though!

Another moment that was shocking for me: what about Kasumi's LM? "Keep it, if you want to. But make sure you may live with consequences". Then Kasumi talks about how she'll hide with secrets and be safe, but I - and Shepard - thought more about living with vivid memories of man you can't be with.

And for offended Shepards: personally I don't think this will be professional to be dramatic when such "innoticeable" thing as Reapers are at hand, so the most harsh reaction you may get even from my most hotheaded Alyson is "only business, nothing more" and only if she'll suspect Kaidan in spying on her for Alliance and that he's send to stop her from "rush actions"... or maybe it's too ME1-style with constant talks about fraternization... Okay. Let's see ME3 and decide what to do basing on situation:P

That line has always struck me as interesting, but I took it more as a reference to what happened on Horizon than foreshadowing. No matter what dialogue options you pick it will always end with an upset VS.

I'm honestly not sure what I want to happen with Kaidan in ME3 now. I want there to be a challenge to get him back, but at the same time I don't want to spend the entire game trying to win him back. I don't want it to take five minutes to win his heart again either.

That's a good point it could be that Shep was thinking of Kaidan as she was thinking and saying this to Legion. Aww poor Shepy!

So I'm just running around exploring all the sidequest planets and completely by accident, somehow found Liara. That was rather random for me XD Clearly didn't pay that much attention to the name of the planet she was on "oh i just run around this corner and shoot that geth and huh? liara? wtf? Oh, umm, guess i'm recruiting you now?"

But its ok because Kaidan says he prefers adventurous women  Though Ashley says scuttlebutt is talking about Liara and my Shep doesn't quite like her tone there...she ran away upstairs quite quickly after that, a little bit worried about her Chief, haha.

EDIT: Liara keeps freaking me out a bit though because even though the voice tone whatever is different, I just keep seeing her as Lightning, and I love Lightning to pieces for her sheer awesomeness.  But Liara is not Lightning, and that makes me sad

Last time I heard this it was just speculation on the part of the fans. But hey they made you work for Cerberus in 2, anything's possible after that imo...

Liara's voice just gets freakier in ME2, it drops down a bit to make her tougher I guess. You can hear the resemblance to Lightning better. In ME1 she sounded sweet and naive. I don't think I like her voice actress anymore though, what she was going for in 2 didn't sound believable imo.
