I suppose that's the good thing that came out of Horizon. It made it look like the link between Shepard and the VS was effectively terminated. So it probably took some attention away from them.

Seems like they would be a person of interest, though, doing all that classified work on the colonies being targeted by Collectors, as well as their connection with Shepard. They may not top his list, but you'd think they'd be at least as important as Captain Bailey, of all people.

I think that a dossier for Kaidan/Ashley would have been considered a spoiler for ME3 back then, since they were obviously working on both LotSB and ME3 concurrently, even though I would have been delighted with even the VS's grocery shopping list in there.
I wonder sometimes if the VS was off limits for DLC, actually, considering how happy we would have been with little things, like a mention from Kasumi after Horizon, or an acknowledgement of romance status by Liara.
But as an ingame reason, I'd like to think that Liara just didn't want to bother or sadden Shepard after the meeting with the VS on Horizon, by showing the dossier.

It's called Alchera, and it's set in ME2 during the Normandy Crash Site DLC mission. I decided that was the very first thing my femShep would do, feeling duty-bound to her former shipmates. If you haven't read JaerWolfe's stuff I highly recommend it. She's one of the best writers of fanfic around in my opinion. there is a list floating around somewhere, maybe in the KAAS.

Anyways, I tend to blame informational vacuum for that and hope the situation will took care of itself when ME3 will be closer to release.
For "no dossier on VS" - my personal explanation is "BioWare trolled own fanbase. Again". The same thing is going now with "not yet confirmed" squaddies - fans are getting nervous, Mr. Priestly is going wicked. Life continues in her usual way:lol:

If I see links in peoples sig's I always click and end up reading everything.
Trying to get my first chapter finished but it seems like I can't connect with it so may redo it. Gah! I just write too much DA ff.net.
The issue with the ME3 board is mostly the s/s argument, tbh I really don't care. I just stay ignorant to it as it won't affect my game like ever, I just hope people could respect each other's opinions more.

It's a bugged dialogue, but it should appear in the second conversation when you're talking about BaAt (Brain Camp). Since it's bugged though, it doesn't always appear and I've even heard of it popping up on soldiers.
To date, I've gotten it with my adept and both vanguards.

My Shepard (Jorgen) is looking forward to go to the rebuilt Chora's Den in ME3 with Kaidan. Kaidan, Garrus, Jacob, and my Shepard will celebrate working together again by having a couple drinks. And when they get back to the Normandy my Shepard will have to explain why they were at an Asari strip club to his girlfriend, Liara.
