Kaidan is my favourite human character. He is intelligent and sharp, but also caring. And cuz this thread has started anew, I would just like to show my appreciation for Kaidan Alenko! But in concern to Horizon, it seemed to me that Kaidan was putting his career above his feelings for Shepard. With regards to Kaidan being "a little upset" that Shepard is "with" Cerberus at their meeting on Horizon...you also have to remember that during ME1 Shepard had 'destroyed' some of Cerberus' facilities.  Plus, you find that Cerberus 'created' Jack in ME2, or was majorly responsible for her life/outcome.  Being a biotic, as Kaidan is, he would be very upset with Shepard being aligned with Cerberus due to their 'unsavory' reputation, even if it were 'assumed' that they dabbled in creating biotic experiments, like Jack, due to his own "Brain Camp" experiences.  

I am also new to the Kaidan threads, so if this post is like beating a dead horse, then I'm sorry.

Well welcome to the Kaidan Thread Family!

I agree I see how Kaidan was upset FIRST off, he thought he lost you and you come back and dont call him or anything, he has to hear it from someone else. Thats not like Shepard with kaidan at all, in ME  Kaidan is always a great support and Shepard could tell him anything! So i get that if i loved someoen and thought they died and when i found out they were alive and it wasnt from them AND they were with Cerberus i would be pretty pissed as well... And as for Shepards reaction i understand that as well. Maybe if they were in a different situation, maybe if she didnt have her squad mates standing right there she would of been more open but she was still working and had a lot more to do. I am sure everything will be ok in ME3 after all look at the letter Kaidan sent! Shows right there he regretted all of that! It was all emotion and Kaidan is a softy!!

So as I can't post in the thread we've been using for God knows how long I'm assuming peeps will be coming back here?

Good going BW, us UK folk who don't get the game til Friday have effectively been cut off from our Kaidan life line, grrrr.

I've been reading the discussion about Horizon in the last few pages and I agree that you are forced to say things that are everything but what you would say. No heartfelt outpouring of love and relief from Shepard, no attempt to fully explain and tell him what he means to her. It seems appropriate after Horizon to make Shepard go straight to Kasumi's bar and drink a few shots while listening to angry Pink or Evanescence songs. LOL Can't even begin to describe my disappointment with that Horizon writing. My copy of ME3 has just been shipped and I am dying to get those two back together.

Agreed! Some people are able to post in those forums, how are they able to do that?  I live in the US but I still can't get my game until midnight

You can still post in Gameplay discussion forum (Chris probably forgot to restrict that one) but the characters' forum is locked until you register the game ugh.... I probably won't have my CE copy till Friday >.<

And I was all set to make a sadface at the lack of Kaidan in the FemShep trailer that was released today, only to find that I'm not allowed to post until I own a game that isn't out yet. *grumpy face* Tuesday, y u no here yet?!

Did I mention I find it amusing that "default" FemShep in today's trailer seems to have shorter hair than the FemShep that was voted for? XD I <3 the hair though, looks like the style I'm having my FemShep switch to.

Hey gang. Was disappointed in the lack of kaidan in the new femshep trailer but I gotta say Femshep looked awesome. I like her look in the trailer moreso than I do in game.

Kaidan is not just a little under 12 hours away for us CST people. We will soon be reunited with our space husbando...

 My Gamestop is in the mall, we never get midnight releases. I have to wait until 9am tomorrow. (will it look creepy if I stand at the doors and wait for them to be unlocked?)


Argh, I was going to start a new Smuggler today in SWTOR (played until chapter 3 then took a HUGE break, so when I went back to finish I forgot most of what happened), but then I remember ME3 is out tomorrow and it'll just be a case of deja vu. I suppose I can play with one of my other... eight characters I have on the go. 

I think I'm rambling again. Kaidan, yay!

Yes im so excited im changing my sleeping pattern so i can play at midnight tonight till like 6am! lol what a loser i am! hahah! well off to bed its 1pm and the suns up but im so tired so im sure ill be rockin it tonight and ill add my ME3 copy to the forum the next day or something!

I thought I'd been banned when I couldn't post in the ME3 thread. Was really confused there for a while, because I couldn't figure out what I'd done...
I guess I'll be hanging out here instead until the game release...

Also, i read one of the spoiler threads and realized that I'll be missing out on several war assets...Grrr...I've already started working on my head canon alternative ending...

@ Trinity I love your thinking, wish I could get away with it but I don't think work or my little boy would be too happy with that, as for the BF, well he could just deal we are talking about Kaidan after all
