I don't think Kaidan is available for m/m romances. Guide says "Kaidan is a romance option for female Shepard."

No mention of s/s romance

omg taking so long to load... doesn't help that i had to play the demo twice to try and unlock the stupid recruitment thing.. have a wonderful friend (that doesn't game) who created an origin account to help..but i can't get it to recognize the demo as completed..even uninstalled/reinstalled
