Seriously? I don't think they can kill my hopes anymore. There's nothing left. Knowing that Mac Walters is the lead writer and responsible for the dreck that is the PS3 comic gutted me. This guy is in charge of the storyline for ME3? I might as well take all my playthroughs and kill them in the suicide mission now and end my pain.

@Liam...I think Jack Lamden answered your question. It is now second nature.

Okay, I was a total downer in my last post, but I have a policy of if I said it, I own it, so I'm not going to edit it. Instead, I will offer a distraction. If you've read my renegade fic with Rache and a Renegade Kaidan this is the open bit of the follow up:



               Waking was a slow, painful process.
               Kaidan groaned softly, his right arm clinking softly as he raised his hand to the back of his throbbing head.
               “What the…” He cracked his eyes open looking at the manacle encasing his wrist without comprehension.
               Chained?
               Kaidan lifted his gaze to the dark walls about him, leaving the puzzle of his chained hands for the moment. Nothing was familiar. Brown and black warred with each other in a color scheme over pipes and mismatched paneling and coils of covered wire. The unrefined look was common on cargo ships moving freight through the systems and none of that explained what the hell he was doing manacled to a pillar in the middle of a room.
               Kaidan struggled to his bare feet, the chains restraining but not uncomfortable. His back was against the pillar and his arms pulled back enough to immobilize but not to hurt.
               Where was he? His last memory had been of a woman hot and willing in his arms and…             “RACHE!” 


I hope all is forgiven.

But...but...but...it's not...there's no plot. There's no story to it, just a funny bit! It's too good to leave hanging like it is. And right now it's all angsty and they're talking their feelings out and crap.

I'm working it out. Kaidan is the hang up. He has to make a choice and he doesn't want to.

You don't need plot.  funny bits are good, and it is really good.  Everyone will love it

Most of us played ME2 so we are used to no story and no plot. At least yours has Shepard and Kaidan.

You're not arrogant.  You know we all love your fics.  Just look at the reaction your hissy fit fic got, lol.

I say post it.   Unless you really hate it of course.  It's your fic so I'm putting it back on you.   It can just be an interlude in the story of Rache and Kaidan.

I thought that using the back story comic on my (arrived early for European release) PS3 copy would enable me to have a single Shepard, but no.................. apparently that is too hard even with cartoon Kaidan for me........... Honestly, in the interest of seeing a different romance (not a cheating Shep) I wanted to pick the mission, but seeing cartoon Kai standing there I had to pick him!
What's that about?

How does he look? Every comic I've seen of him, they end up choosing Liara. 

From the other side of the room? OK, I guess  I have the advantage of knowing 'who', he is though, iyswim? That said, I can't see any heterosexual women picking Liara, based on the comic as it really does dispel the 'is she or isn't she a she'?   And the pic below the choice with Ash/Kaidan and Liara, he looks nice  (on my TV anyway, which is 42 in, so as good a view as you might get) Anyway, I am clearly a fool for Kaidan in any form...............
