So, when you choose Kaidan, it shows a closeup of Liara being sad? Or does it show Kaidan being all happy? o.o

I am such a loser......................
I thought that using the back story comic on my (arrived early for European release) PS3 copy would enable me to have a single Shepard, but no.................. apparently that is too hard even with cartoon Kaidan for me........... Honestly, in the interest of seeing a different romance (not a cheating Shep) I wanted to pick the mission, but seeing cartoon Kai standing there I had to pick him!
What's that about?
@Jho - The eyes have it in that pic  Lovely!

I know how you feel. I was replaying ME1 today again. Trying my very hardest to not romance Kaidan, but i did. Then in Virmire i was like, "this is it, i'm going to do it". And i couldn't. Every time i romance him he just gets more and more awesome.

If the Ash comic was anything to go by, it shows you a picture of a male. . . someone in the far distance.

Does anyone else feel like the PS3 was the final straw for them? I really wanted to avoid cursing out my favorite game developer and I really wanted to believe they would eventually release more Kaidan content, but I seriously can't take it anymore. I'm so pissed and tired of all of us being ignored.

I say wait until the last DLC is announced, then go ahead and rage to your heart's content. Give them one last chance to make it up to us.

*hugs* Don't worry they know how much people like Kaidan and Ashley. If they don't do a DLC they will for sure put them in ME3.

Honestly, I'm starting to feel afraid of what they might do to Ash and Kaidan in an Alliance DLC. I'm afraid they'd butcher their characters even more.

In someways I hope that the next DLC isn't about the VS. I am willing to sacrifice a DLC reunion for a bigger more dramatic reunion in ME3. I know it will suck waiting for next winter, but hopefully it will be worth it.

I don't mind waiting till ME3 either, I just wish we had some solid info regarding it.

Ah, I see!

That's why they gave Ash and Kaidan a badly written and executed cameo after which they vanished into thin air never to be seen again, left them out in the Kasumi DLC, left them out in the LotSB DLC apart from a dig at their short-sightedness, substituted them with Liara in the PS3 version of ME2, marginalised and sidelined their characters in Genesis, can't be bothered to spell Kaidan's name properly and are now calling him Carth!

And here I thought I had reasons to worry.  Silly me.

It does suck. But it's not something i have any control over. I dunno. I was 12 stepping it. Trying to trust that things will turn out the way they are supposed to turn out, eventually.

I'm not blaming you - don't worry.

It is only everyone saying "The VS DLC will fix this!" or "ME3 will fix this!" when there is absolutely no evidence that points to either one of these scenarios. Quite the contrary, actually.

Long wait for DLC means big DLC?  Or maybe they'll add a Liara fluff pack... :crying:

With the way they've been showing favoritism to Liara, I'd expect that before anything related to Kaidan and Ash at this point. :(

I just hate holding out hope for something that may not happen. I remember before ME2 they either didn't say anything or assured us that we would love what they'd done with K/A despite them not being companions. Then ME2 came out and it was the worst scene ever and made zero sense. It wasn't dark or drama or anything they were trying to push it as. It was just plain dumb. I assured myself, though, that they would give content to them later, but there has been no solid info about it for a year now. I don't want to wait on ME3, get it, find out there's nothing again. I just want them to be honest about what's going on here.

I'm getting the feeling they're going to retcon that everyone romanced Liara in ME3 - no matter what your ME1 choices were. Either that or if you didn't, you'll get an email or another crappy two minute scene with whoever you did romance.

Now I know ME isn't just about romance and they do have other things to do, but why offer it if they're not going to deal with it properly. Better to just leave it out imho.

I sincerely hope they give us Kaidan/Ash DLC.  Because if they don't I may hang up my N7 armor and go play champion of Kirkwall for a while.

My god, I think I know what's going on!  Subtle propaganda to get everyone to play Dragon Age II!  :?

At the moment, the only thing that has me vaguely interested in ME3 is how they handle Kaidan and Ashley.  Because as far as I'm concerned, ME2 dropped the plot ball on all the neat bits I was otherwise interested in.
