Same here, but I think that might be a good thing.

@CmdrShepardsGirl I always almost hear Kaidan saying '**** blocker!!" He looks soooooo disappointed. Makes me laugh every time.

The end of Origins was brutal, though I did leave Alistair behind (I made him King and I could just see him doing something stupid that would leave the country in anarchy). And then I realized that there's no way for anyone to get a happily ever after without another person dying or making a potentially evil baby god. But the worst ending by far was for the Morrigan romancers who couldn't do ANYTHING to stop her from leaving.

All in all, I'd rather not have this kind of ending choice for ME3.

Am i the only one that did the ritual in DAO? i prefer to live and if theres an evil due to my acts...i will deal with it when it comes



And i cant imagine my Shepards trying to convince Kaidan to sleep with Miranda for whatever reason

I did it too. Although Alistair wasn't my LI (I normally don't like goody-goody guys. There's only one exception) I felt incredibly bad from forcing my friend into it.
But DA:O was initially supposed to be dark, and ME wasn't. So all my hopes are for multiple endings, at least one of which will be "and they lived happily".

Ladies, I completely agree with the trepidation of things ending badly for the LI at the end of ME3, but the very, very good news is that David Gaider is not writing Mass Effect. (Phew.) They did such a great job with Liara's DLC and even though it was possible for any of the ME2 LIs to die, they could still stay alive, too. Without sacrificing kittens or babies, too! =p

We will have our cake and eat it, too!

I take much solace in the fact that Gaider is NOT writing Mass Effect.  Granted, he's talented as hell and evokes quite the emotional reaction from players, but he's a total sadist.  As much as I hated the "demon baby or death" choice, it fit well into DA:O.  However, Admiral Xen showing up in your cabin the night before the big final battle with the Reapers and demanding to make half-human, half-quarian babies with Kaidan to save the galaxy just doesn't work quite so well.

Well, it's enough for me if you guys see this post, thou I probably formed it wrong.

rant:

I know that people are getting impatient because of lack of info about new DLC. Fans who are hoping to get some closure in form of "VS DLC" also belong in this group.
But when someone is suddenly nagging a dev on the forums, in a thread that has little in common with the VS, in rude and unpleasant manner, I'm not sure what that person is thinking.
Fans can't make demands to developers. They can't expect they deserve something from a developer. More than that, I can't stand it if someone's giving a bad name to the VS and to KAST in the process.

This is not directed to anyone in particular. Just giving you a call that something like this happened recently and echoed in few other threads.

Oh you are DEFINATELY right lol  My day wouldn't be complete without my dosage of Shenko fic I went a few days without reading any and I'm sure I started suffering symptoms of Kaidan withdrawl much like when I stop playing ME lol..Oooo that picture is beautiful

That thread was just full of anger toward Mac in general; it got really nasty after a while. It seemed that personalities from the KAST were relatively civil, though I admit that I got a bit snappy with one individual who told us to just get over it. Our frustration does need to stay out of irrelevant threads though, especially after Woo comes in and tells everyone to knock it off.

And Chig, there were a few others in there who were feeding the trolls after that apology was issued.  It got... bad.

I don't think that we can't expect something from a developer, I think that we (all the fans) are equals and we have the right to receive the same treatment.



I think that's the whole thing, Ash/Kai fans feels like "second class citizens" (using the words of shep), and we all know that we have always been mistreated by other fans. And that's not fair.

And maybe that wasn't the intention of Bioware, but we are mistreated...there's a lot of haters on the BSN, like you said, you have to read some threads to notice that.

What if Shepard's comms activated when s/he got flung out into space? What if the crew heard her/his last breaths while they sat helpless in escape pods?
