you know, I don't think he'd have a messy place. he's too much of a control freak to allow himself to let things go like that... I can see him working himself into exhaustion but I think he'd be keeping things need just for routine and preserving his sanity. cannot see him getting drunk much either. though I could see him possibly break a few things in angry biotic display and then feel even worse about it and freeze up for a while into even more of self control.



I think he'd have Shepard's picture, but he wouldn't have it out. As for the mail thing, damn, I feel like logging in to check, didn't you get it from undisclosed recipient so that you can't even reply? I would imagine Shepard bugging Anderson at first opportunity for Kaidan's contact information, yet again. Or Liara. we're just in such a limbo/stasis at the moment, I'm basically imagining that everything is paused and will resume once we know a bit more about direction of ME3. and if it doesn't work, you people have some fantastic fanfiction out there, so that would have to do

I personally see his place being a little messy. Not sloppy or dirty, just things out of place. And I totally see him keeping her pic around. Not up on a desk anymore, but I don't see him getting rid of it.

This - both the messy and the picture.

Not massively messy, but more kind of lived in, busy life, not as on top of things as his exterior projects kind of messy. I haven't written his apartment yet, but I'd imagine it to yes, have plenty of paperwork and books, files and so on. But I'd imagine that he'd let mess, like rumpled clothes, stacks of papers etc., build up a little before getting frustrated and having to clean up. Not like a bachelor pad dump, but I can't picture him as a paragon of cleanliness and minimalism either.

Clearly, years in the military instill a neatness ethic of sorts, but that's out of necessity when stationed and bunked up with others and in active service in the field. In his personal quarters I can see Kaidan being the kind of guy that wasn't really the tidy sort before his military training, and so now lapses back into that untidiness. But just because he's got other stuff to do ... doing 'stuff' takes priority.

Ok, this is result of yesterday's meddling, but it came out all smudged and blurry, but I kept it for the colors.
(What's with English and "color"? I've always thought "colour" is the correct writing.)


I'll just leave raw version too, just in case...

That's gorgeous, Akodo!

And as far as the spelling of "color" goes, it depends on where you live. In the United States it is spelled "color," while it is spelled "colour" in Australia, Canada, and the UK.  It's one of the differences between American English and the Queen's English.

Agreed, the moment you froze makes it look like Shepard is seeking comfort almost by clinging to him and Kaidan isn't holding her yet so she caught him by surprise. Well that's what I see anyway lol...lovely

Thats picture is amazing  I definately agree with Jhosephine @ Shepard seeking comfort from Kaidan I could see his arms going around her one hand on her lower back and one hand between her shoulders a few seconds later letting himself relax and sink into the hug sighing softly with relief

Color is American English and colour is English English 
ETA whatever that is, as it is a hybrid language to start with  Anyway, lovely pic.................
