I didn't even notice she retweeted it! I love Christina Norman for acknowledging Kaidan so many times. It's a good sign~

Also I heard Ashley's grandfather, General WIlliams, is in the new ME comic with the Illusive Man so hopefully they are starting to tie everything together with the Alliance and Cerberus to set up the next DLC :) Hopefully as the comic continues we will see it relate to Kaidan in some way, like the "accidental" eezo exposure in the womb or we'll get to see Commander Vyrnnus?!

I had no interest in the comic until now.

If comic will continue in that way and considering Kaidan was born in 2151 and First Contact War started in 2157, I'd like to see 6 years old Kaidan. First child shown in ME? :innocent:

All I can think is that that gives a whooole new meaning to the phrase "a good kid." :P

That said, it's definitely interesting to see where the comic goes.

Edit: ToP Kaidan!

Straps!

I'm rather surprised to even see Ashley's grandfather in the comic, seeing as how Ashley and Kaidan have been treated as the same person since Virmire. Unless they fully intend on focusing on yet another female LI for their precious Sheploo ;)

Really want to see where the comic is going, mainly because I'm very interested in finding out if they're seperating Kaidan and Ashley for ME3.

This whole thing about Ash's father not being properly promoted because of what her grandfather had done applies to Ash too. But refresh my memory, did Ash get the same amount of ranks as Kaidan received in ME2 or not?

She did not. But it's more difficult to promote an NCO than an officer.

If Ash wanted to go higher, she'd have to have more training. They call it Mustanging.

You know, I just had to look up Mustanging, because it sounded kind of suggestive. Urban Dictionary defines it as either procrastination, or dancing like a stripper with co-workers. Somehow, I don't think that's what you meant (unless Ash has her tinfoil mini on). :)

ROTFLMAO, Urban Dictionary wouldn't have it since it's military slang. Means bringing up an NCO to an Officer's Rank.

One thing to remember: What's good for Ashley is good for Kaidan. If BioWare is exploring anything Ashley-related, that means there's at least something in the works for Kaidan also. That's assuming, of course, that this isn't just a throwaway reference meant as a shout out to the first game and nothing more.

I dunno.

As much as I love the way Bioware set up the Virmire decision (while simultaneously hating the fact that I have to make it) I'm starting to wonder if it was a good idea.

Now every time the writers want to do something with one of the Virmire Survivors, they also have to design the same scenario to fit the other survivor. It seems like that's going to make it difficult to continue to develop the characters in ways that suit the unique personalities of both.

I wonder if, perhaps, the "Virmire decision" should have been left for the third game.  That way Ash and Kaidan both could have been developed to their full potential.

Of course, all of this is contingent upon Bioware really being interested in the Virmire Survivors, which is something I'm not fully convinced is the case.

LOL.  I don't understand the "I will romance whomever wins this poll" polls, but I guess people are bored while waiting for ME3 news.  I personally would never put my own gaming habits up to a vote, though.

It's a tie.  Now what?

I know what you mean, and I'm hoping that Kaidan and Ashley fill different roles in ME3. I really disliked the 'sameness' of the Horizon interaction with Kaidan and Ashley, with only a bit of dialogue differentiating the two. Most of the animations were the same and much of the dialogue was verbatim for both. I'm sure it's easier on the developers, but it's still lame. That would be like Miranda and Jacob having the same animations and dialogue. Can you imagine?

I think that Ashley and Kaidan's writers having left (one separated from BioWare, the other working on DA2) may have something to do with it.  Thing is: even if they're not doing it to be malicious (which I really doubt they are), I can see the current writers as being more interested in introducing and exploring their own ideas than expanding on someone else's.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I get from the genre shift and ditching the "boring" characters and such.  Someone may even have thought they were doing us a favor.  :(

Yea I wouldn't either. And I'm sure my comments on that poll will make some Garrus fans mad at me but oh well.

@Jho Basically all it means is that instead of the 3 people who follow both me and Christina Norman seeing your Kaidan art...Christina retweets to her followers so 3360 people see it instead. :D

How would I follow her? I searched her name on twitter but nothing... I just wanted to see Kaidan... I don't use twitter so no idea what to do.

*shrugs* People must be very bored, if they can't think of a reason to change LI/(un)intentionally mock characters.
