Hm, really. My exams ended a week ago, so I don't need to worry about distraction

Prolly in a bed somewhere, or a tent, some fresh grass, behind a rock?, on the rock? or against a tree....could be anywhere knowing Zev
What if Kaidan would become more vocal flirt wise like Zev eh? That would be...shocking

This is what the PS3 comic should have been. ME1 in 5 minutes. The 2:50ish mark where he is talking about Ashley and Kaidan makes me laugh everytime.
I've seen this before, but it always makes me laugh. And it's much better at explaining ME1 than that comic.
Genocidal robots created by the quarians? Those are geth!
That always cracks me up.

Zev... is not. Which is part of his charm.
An oldie but a goodie:

So, how much time has actually passed between TIM feeding certain information to the Alliance about Shepard, and Kaidan and Shepard meeting on Horizon? How long has Kaidan been exposed to these rumors before seeing her again? I mean I'm sure he had to witness the whole Elvis syndrome where Shepard is concerned, with people claiming to have seen here etc etc...but still, his line on Horizon about "wanting to believe the rumors were true" made me wonder how long it would have been on his mind, keeping him awake at night even.
I get the impression that it's been a few months... I'd guess that TIM started leaking information shortly before Shepard "woke up." Long enough for the info to really make Kaidan start questioning things but not so long that he can just dismiss the claims.

We'll have to post a lot here too.
I only hope Kaidan returns for ME3, and also that they don't do something stupid like kill him off or end ME3 with Shepard's death. One death is enough

This thread is pretty anemic, what happened to the one with 1000s of posts? People are going to see only 175ish pages and think Miranda is more popular![]()

The Horizon scene sucked but in a way, I can understand how these two reacted. I mean, for Shep, it's a huge shock and she is unsure of what to do, only have been 'alive' for a few days. You would be dumbfounded by the flinging accusations and your own tongue would get tied up with nothing to say while in your head is screaming otherwise. When two people love each other deeply and then something so life altering happens and is unbelievable, yeah, you can hurt each other immensely.
But here's hoping they come up with a resolution that is happy for ME3 *crosses fingers and toes*

I was disappointed when the old thread was closed, I wanted to see it get to at least it's one year anniversary (it was so close!), but making a new thread does make it easier for new readers to catch up...if they really *want* to read all of our insane, Kaidan deprived ranting...
Hopefully we'll get some good news when the next story based DLC is announced, and this thread will become even more active.

I posted this over at KAAS but here is a good place too. I put together a little montage of minute facial expressions of Shep when Kaidan rants at her on Horizon. She didn't stand there with such a passive face after all! As I learned in one of my cyber security classes, microexpressions are fast but if trained, you can see it.

Thank you! I visit Horizon often to take shots of Kaidan but I never did the same for Shepard actually. It's odd but I only have the memory of regular playthroughs where her behavior on Horizon is concerned, never occured to me to actually pan the camera and watch her for once
@TZ Yes, closing the big thread was like closing a chapter. I was sad to see it being closed but it was understandable.
When other character threads get too big, they will be shut down too and then we'll be one of the biggest again, it's how it goes. Thread size means nothing at all, but it was lovely to see Kaidan's being the way it was

And for Horizon, I'd love to write back to the e-mail.
In the few days my Shepard was alive, she woke up and asked Joker ASAP about Kaidan. Then she went immediately to the Citadel ... to ask about Kaidan. Then saddened, she got drunk with Dr. Chakwas and apparently they were also talking about Kaidan.
Sadly she was forced to halt her trip to gather a force to stop the Collecters but knew she had to get moving because ultimately that would help save Kaidan (and the rest of humanity, I guess). This doesn't mean she didn't spend a few hours in her room staring at her Kaidan picture.

Then I did something wrong.
Please don't be so sensitive, I shared my opinions on it. It's obvious you've got quite a following who can see things I can't see, judging by how much they worshiped your art immediately after your comment but don't try playing the wounded bird.
You'll hear criticism everywhere you go, just something you have to deal with if you wish to post on a public forum.

I wasn't being sensitive. I merely think that I did something wrong with the picture if you felt that way.
There is, however, no need to act so condescending and patronising.

I apologize, I was frustrated after reading the countless posts immediately afterward that generally worshipped your art as if to balance out with my negativity towards it. I don't mind positive reviews, though I felt it rather unnecessary that everybody had to "balance" it out with my negative comment.
Your post seemed like a wounded bird. (Ignoring the dating context)

Are we representing Summer's Eve or Massengill? Whatever your personal rights are in the forums and ...

But I see what you're doing. I hope you got adequate "lulz" from your efforts.

There's also a difference between saying "her face looks like it's melting off" and saying something like "you may want to check the location of her face". Tone has everything to do with making a successful critique. If you approach a critique with a "no offense but *insert harsh words here*" kind of attitude, you're going to find that people get very defensive.
This wasn't about a 'hive mind' or anything of that sort. It was about friends coming to the defense of someone that was hurt by what was said. Again, tone is everything for a constructive critique. Otherwise, it's just tearing an artist down.

That is hardly my fault, is it? Please direct your posts to the appropiate person next time.

Why, thank you. If you have such an issue with my comment that you feel the need to quote it again, it probably would have been better to contact me via PM instead of derailing the thread.
