I can't tell you how many times I've been in an area, usually underground or in a building and Kaidan and Shepard goes crazy biotic, mercs/geth/krogans get stuck in the walls, under the flooring, in the ceiling, behind a stack of crates we can't get around, or something. They legs dangling out. I have to reload and try not to be so overzealous with the biotic murder storm.

To hell with an asari matriarch give me Team Shenko!

Maybe them being an unstoppable combo is the real reason Kaidan couldn't be a squadmate in ME2. We won't have to recruit 12 others. We could have went through the Omega 4 relay right off the bat. Wouldn't even need the Reaper IFF.

Holy Kaidan fanart, batman! I especially love the dreaming one. And yep, I play an adept femShep and she, Kaidan, and Ash made a good team up until Virmire. Who takes Ash's place after that really depends on how I'm feeling. Usually Garrus or Wrex

Ah yes, ME1. Battle for Citadel with Kaidan and Wrex in team, tossing everyone out of station... I even felt sorry for Sarehusk which spent almost entire battle floating.

Kaidan is an absolute must in my team in ME1 too. And, strangely, my main James Shepard is an adept too. What is it about the adept!Shep/Kaidan combo? It just works. I like that combo with Tali along for the ride. Who needs soldiers when you've got a biotic/tech team like that? And I love it when Tali gets badass in combat in ME1

On the mission where you fight some mercs led by that Akuze survivor, I ended up having to drive the Mako down to the facility entrance then get out and try to finish off the last merc at close range when it looks like he got hit with two lifts and then two throws. He almost made it into orbit.

Heh, my main Shepard is an adept too both in ME1 and ME2. For some reason I thought it would be an interesting combination with Kaidan...this whole biotic link Who I bring along in ME1 as a third means little, but I bring Garrus along most of the time.

Here's to hoping I can reunite the squad I started this ME journey with in ME3!

I strangely miss the mako too. Yes, it certainly had its quirks, and in later games I avoided some of the more jaggedy UCWs (or, at least, didn't explore and just did the main side quest), but it sure was a fun distraction trying to desperately cling on to the side of an 89° incline without sliding back down

And of course, I miss Kaidan terribly. I wish I had someone to click on when wandering around the Citadel in ME2 who would say, "Big place." (

Kaidan and Liara are often my end of game team.  I don't usually play a biotic.  Hell, I don't even have to play, they do all the work.

And Kaidan has lifted at least one of the Dead Scientists mercs into orbit all by himself before.  I know, because it was just Shep, him, and Ashley and only one of them has biotics.  XD
