I can't tell you how many times I've been in an area, usually underground or in a building and Kaidan and Shepard goes crazy biotic, mercs/geth/krogans get stuck in the walls, under the flooring, in the ceiling, behind a stack of crates we can't get around, or something. They legs dangling out. I have to reload and try not to be so overzealous with the biotic murder storm.

Awesome pic! I love the concept of Team Shenko!

I just recently did a NG, and rerolled Teddy as an Adept as well. I started her off as a Sentinel, but I wanted moar biotic power, and her ME1 class was the Adept, so I'm determined to carry one class through all 3 games


I used Kaidan and Wrex exclusively through Teddy's ME1.... and things died, very, very fast. I did a speed run ,but still.....


Do you think Kaidan will EVER get his amp updated? Teddy feels unsue about having the Lv.5x implants.... she prefered her old 3x one.....

Russian/english translations in either direction crack me up, its like watching unintentional Mystery theater 3000.  at least not everything is translated in that aweful nasal voice anymore :/  ok, now I have to try ME in Russian...I mean Metro was very good, but its already a Russian game, so translation issues would be on the english side..hmm

It's not Kaidan's amp that needs to be upgraded, amps can be changed any time. It is his implant that is the L2. From what I understand, the implants are under the skin at the base of the skull. Humans can't produce mass effect fields for practical use without implants. Amps are just add-ons to improve biotic power. It is a very risky surgery to upgrade from a L2 implant to a newer implant. At this time the risk out weights the benefits. He just gets headaches, though I'm sure they can get bad they are livable. Shepard only got an new implant 'cause what is the worst that could happen? She dead?

L2 are still very powerfrul, but that power comes at a price. L2 implants compared to L5 implants are primitive. What did Wrex compare L2 implants to...a shotgun with a strong kick?

Haha, you're not alone, I didn't care for the Fenris version either.  But it's just my hangup, no offense to Jho (whose skills I am in awe of).  One pic that is not my style won't kill me.

A rifle with a strong kick, if localizers didn't mess anything up. I think Kaidan might have his implant upgraded between ME1 and 2, maybe for the same reason "what may be worse?" and justification that traumatic stress caused more complications with L2

L5 is told to be developed with asari, so it's unlikely Cerberus only. Of course, who knows. About refit - agreed, no indication that L2 xan be upgraded into something other than L3
EDIT: I think that the origin of L5 is told while choosing a class in ME2. Checking this at the moment. I love this unskippable intro

Is that right?  I must have missed that part... I still thought they were top secret in development, though?  Maybe Cerberus just stole them like the Normandy plans....

Considering he seems to be in the "rest and relaxation" corner of the ship, I assumed he was either playing video games, surfing the extranet, or doing some other kind of "public terminal" thing like check his email.  Other options are things like "sending reports to Alliance command" and "setting up people's schedules."  Alternately, the public terminal is broken and he's trying to fix it.

I don't know if this will help.  I always looked at it as if it was a monitoring station.  Where he could keep track of all the technical aspects of the ship as well as collect the daily reports and keep track of the marines under him.  I figure it would be his job to report any deficiencies to the XO.

Can't find a reference. I'm ashamed. It may be told somewhere else, but it's not either manual or class choosing screen or codex, so even if I say I definitely was glad I've seen that (finally not turians working with humans. Young trainees must be delighted) it's not official:(

This might help. I love this site, it is a lot of help when it comes to Mass Effect info. I use it a lot while writing/drawing fan stuff. I know it is a user based fan wiki but most of the info is generally currect.

I especially like Kaidan's page there (not surprising, heh) - beautiful screenshots and rather detailed timeline. To my shame, it's likely I've seen information about manufacturer of L5 on some sort of local fansites and was so glad that considered this as official.
