It is interesting after all this time finding out that there are situations that can cause that....

what fort said. kaidan works for everything, even when he overlaps skills. the me1 wiki makes it sound like kaidan is pretty useless, esp. if you're playing a biotic. i found adept shep + kaidan + liara was a dream team on hard core. the mobs don't ever stay on their feet for more than a second. i would imagine engineer shep + kaidan couldn't go wrong.

The combination of Kaidan, Adept Shep and Liara felt incredibly over powered to me, It like I was skeet shooting the entire time.

This so very much.
Sometimes on planet sidequests... I'd actually lose sight of where a person got lifted to.

My canon shep is mostly Paragon, except in the locker scene. I like two of the neutral options ("I pushed as hard as I could. They wouldn't listen." and "I'm sick of it too. Maybe we need to take a little initiative.") The rest of the responses, I go Paragon. I love the "Sometimes I need a shoulder" line, and as much as I just said I love the renegade teasing Kaidan about 'appreciate', I usually go for the paragon "Galaxy in the balance and you trip talking to me"

The night before Ilos, neutral option was perfect for my Shep: "You're still hesitating? After all this time. What are you afraid of?"

I prefer to take a lot of the neutral and renegade lines. You get to see a bit more of the playful Kaidan, like this after he compliments Shepard:
"I bet you say that to all your commanding officers."
"Yeah, ever since I heard the Captain's mess gets better food."

But.. but.. I don't care for those lines anyway, tbh, I wish he was more in control................... BioWare write the way they wish women would come onto them.....Joisan wrote...

But... but... you miss out on epicness like the "serving under" line! Or the "I think you need more practice 'appreciating' me" line!
Well, nice to see you hereRanirav wrote...
I'm sneaking into the discussion and adding my two cents;
I also love the 'playful' side of Kaidan; that he's a smartass is quite apparent when he's talking to Joker. I imagine he gave the same attitude to Vyrnnus.
And yes, I'm new here at the forum ^^
