Speaking of Kaidan lines, did anyone else get confused by paragon Kaidan's advice when faced with the council decision? I can't remember exactly what it was but when I sacrificed the council (I thought if I didn't focus on Sovereign the galaxy would die) I was surprised that he disapproved.
Anyways here's some Kaidan. 
 
And my favorite line would have to be the classic: "You make me feel human line". Though I always did wonder about the "First woman I've ever met who could..." line.

I think I always picked either paragon or neutral out of a paranoid fear of messing something up. :/



One of my personal favorite funny things is when I would take Kaidan out on a mission and get lost somewhere on the map going the wrong direction. (I'm directionally challenged so it happened a lot.) He would say something like "I think we are going the wrong way commander" and I'd giggle because it reminds me of my husband and his backseat driving. I always wanted to respond, "well you lead the way then!" hehe

Maybe he never really *has* felt human before because he perceives himself as being fundamentally different from other people in ways that aren't always good?

It's why I've always liked it. By 'classic' I just meant that it is one of the defining lines of the romance with Kaidan. And what a line it is.

I've always imagined that his "its been a long time since I met a woman..." would end in "who could make me lose control like that" I mean, yes, he loves Shepard and he's extremely attracted, but at the same time we see him as this disciplined and controlled individual, for a reason too. And Shepard completely demolishes those defenses of him.

One word: Haters. They feel emasculated by him and therefore must hate him. At least that is how my mind sees it.
I won't completely stop looking at fanart. There is some very talented artists out there. If you want to find a lot of pro-Kaidan art, I suggest this site. Also Night does a great job keeping track of artists and writers on the KAAS.
