I would love to see this as well.

I replayed DAO over and over varying the members of the group just to hear all the different dialogue.

Sometimes I just ran around waiting for them to talk 

I can't count the hours I've spent just switching around the people in my party to walk around and listen to them talk in DA:O.

Imagine how many Kaidan hours we would get switching out each and every character with Kaidan to hear what they all have to say to him....................

My opinion on the difference between Kaidan and Garrus is that Kaidan has his act together, he knows who he is, what he wants, and where he's going and doesn't have to compromise his ideals to get there.  He doesn't need Shepard to fix him or do anything for him.  Garrus on the other hand reminds me of a petulant child, who packs up his bat & ball when he can't do things his own way.  He believes that his way is right and everyone around him is just trying to hinder him, regardless of the fact that others in C-Sec have more experience than he does.  He needs Shepard to lead him by the hand constantly otherwise he loses his way.

As for squad interaction, I would be surprised if there was much next time around given that Shepard could barely speak to the people that knew her from her old crew.  If Kaidan is a squadmate, I don't expect too much in the way of interaction or comments with other squadmembers, lol

Agreed. Kaidan and Garrus are complete opposites IMO. Lawful good as opposed to chaotic good. 

Lawful Good and Chaotic Good aren't opposites.  Now.... if one of them were chaotic evil....

Their personalities and demeanor are opposites though. So are their methods.

No Sbarge didn't voice Alistair. But Alistair is still very awesome. Shining white knight, excellent sense of justice and honor, funny, sentimental, and an all round good guy. Oh and let's not forget he is a love interest. Very sweet romantic love interest.

I know you guys are going to hate me for saying this, but I would like to see a darker, angrier Kaidan. I'm not talking about a Darkside Atton, but maybe with some dark humor and more likely to raise his voice. We see how Shepard's death has affect everyone else. Garrus is more angry, Tali seems worn and older, Liara is much more harder. Besides the infamous Horizon scene and the letter, that is the only window in post-Shepard Kaidan.

I don't think Kaidan could ever be evil. neutral, maybe, but he has too much of a romantic in him to be truly evil. even renegade Kaidan with his darker side, is still a good guy, and I like him that way
more passionate and unrestrained though..yummm.

I don't really want to see Kaiden become jaded or hardened.



I like that he's been consistently vulnerable. Even his outburst on Horizon and the letter after screamed vulnerability to me. Like he was testing the waters leaving it open to you to say whether the relationship was over.



He may be a bit naive but I like that things ultimately don't change him that much.

I can't imagine avoiding Star Wars. I grew up with the 'real' movies. The original movies plus the KOTOR games are arguably the best Star Wars anything. Oh and the comics, but then again I'm just a fan of comic books.

also - I need to go kick something. if I read another person claiming that Kaidan was boring and his romance was terrible, I might fly into nerd rage...again :/

It'll take a while, but you'll get used to it. That probably doesn't sound too comforting but it's the truth XD

Sadly, this is true, but occasionally, we see someone give Kaidan another chance, and realize that they were wrong about their first impression...that's always nice.  

But in general, the people who hate him, made a decision about him the moment he opened his mouth at the beginning of ME1, and they won't change their minds.
