We now have two rogue arachers as possible companions. Which one will you choose to be in your party? Sabastian, Varrel, both, or neither?

I'll personally be choosing Sabastian if archers are given better talents than the ones in DA1. I always thought they were the underpowered spec.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention why I'd choose Sabastian over Varric. Anyway, probably because I just find dwarves creepy (short and plump people).

Some posts below have swayed my choice, though. Sabastian may have less story aspects due to being a dlc character, though Shale from DA1 had an exceptional dialogue selection. I also hadn't thought about how Varric being the story's narrator could incline some people to put him in the party (plus Bianca looks cool in the combat vid).

Probably Sebastien. Because it'd be awesome to have a developer in my party.

Not anymore.  Warriors can only use S&S and 2H, rogues get DW and Archery.

It's entirely possible that Sebastian will get less dialogue as a DLC character, and, since Varric is the opening narrator, I know he's got a part to play in the main plot. So for story purposes, I'd probably be more inclined to choose Varric. Who knows which one could be more useful in combat, if they have different specializations.

In DA0 I have my favourite party, but I'll change it a lot of time, I'll probably do the same thing in DA2.

I personally prefer Varric, but in DA2 rogue weren't supposed to be the only one able to use bow? If that's the case, I think sebastian looks far too much like a warrior lolz

The epic chest hair makes me question my own heterosexuality. I may not be able to resist Varric. I am sure I want to play every character at some point to get all sidequests... but that chest hair... must resist temptation...

I'll force them to fight to the death with sporks, and whomever comes out on top gets that last spot in my party. Unless, that is, I'm playing as a rogue myself in which cause they're both regulated to the city for the duration of the game.

In all seriousness though, I plan to have mulitiple playthroughs with each class. So if I don't use one character during a specific playthrough I'll be sure to use them for another.
