If one of them is a love interest, I am taking both. I love archers and since my first Hawke isn't going to be one this time I would be more than happy to have both of them cutting down enemies from a distance.



However, if neither of them is romanceable, I'll need to alternate in order to have room in the party for whatever guy is actually willing to bed my Lady Hawke, as I'm planning to take Bethany as well.

She doesn't have the casteless brand. You can see it on Aimo's male Brosca in the brownie pic, looks sorta "s" shaped.

Why do we have to choose? Can anyone honestly say that they played through Origins and Awakening without changing their party the entire time? I personally will use a different one where each will best fit the location. Varric= Deep roads, Sabastian=... Something Sabastiany?

Aimo's drawf princess drawings are hot...kinda makes me wish my dwarf noble origin playthrough was female(though that was one of my best playthrough since I romanced Morrigan in that oen from beginning to end). My dwarf commoner origin was that way however...and that one was pretty awesome...rolling through deep roads in legion of the dead armor set and dual-wielding the veshalle and bloodline as a warrior( looks like it will have to be a rogue hawke that gets to do something awesome in that fashion)....

@ silent... You don't actually, I went through a couple of playthroughs of origins where I used everyone...but on third, I pretty much knew who was staying with me the entire time and who riding the pine at camp...and this would be due to personality...usefulness in the party...and my overall vibe about the character and thier reactions to things I did...hencing why Alistar...mostly stayed at camp...Lelianna was ALWAYS in my party...Morrigan took over the dominate mage role when she became a spirit healer...and shale was my tank for most quests ( the save anora quest not included since she can't go with you on that one).

I started that way in origins, but found myself often defaulting to a mostly set party.  For the most part, it was myself (as either a mage or a dwarven rogue), Oghren, and then switching 3rd slot with Mage (depending on my mood for Morrigan/Wynne) and 4th with Leliana/Alistair....Some characters I just didn't bring around at all (Zev, Sten, and Dog tended to be left behind more often than not)

This. From what I understand, the other face tats are okay, but the s-shaped one indicates casteless.

As for the OP question, I'm going to try and be equal, but right now I'm leaning towards Sebastian. Or maybe I'll just say bugger it and take both

I always take at least one archer along in Dragon Age so it will be one of these two.



Probably Sebastian at the moment, his accent is cool and his background sounds somewhat more interesting from the little we know.



I liked Nathaniel Howe as well so a second version of him would be fine. Just hope Sebastian gets as much content as other companions, Shale had enough in DA:O.
