[Tarot Redhand]

Is there a tutorial someone could point me to on using custom 2da's, i.e. ones that I would create myself. I have an idea for a set of functions and a custom 2da seems (at present) to offer the most efficient solution. Any help much appreciated.

I can not think of any tutorials for custom 2da files.   Once you know how to make one (Documentation: 2DA File Format) . I do not think there is much need for a tutorial.  All data retirved from the 2da will be done with the Get2DAString function. 

Anything outside of that is kind of  case by case as to how you handle it.

I think Lightfoot basically covered it. There are some basic formatting issues, though. No spaces in the data, they're used to separate columns. Leave a blank line after the header line. Looking at 2das in nwnexplorer should show you all you need to know.
