There's a lot of great stuff in the two Mass Effect games. Sadly I only have the first one, but I'll get the second one... eventually. And if ME3 is really going to be the last one in the series, it's a last opportunity for the devs to put in as much awesome, brilliant or hilarious stuff as they can.

I'm hoping to see the following:
  • Blasto. Not as a sci-fi TV program; the Council reveals that he is an actual Spectre operative. Bonus points if they also reveal that the majority of their Spectres - let's say 70% - are Hanar.
  • Tali and Garrus as recruitable squadmates (again)
  • "I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite store on the Citadel." in the majority of Citadel stores will have entertaining repercussions
  • Turian councilor air quotes. Backfires at the end of the game when Shepard does it back to him (Renegade option, but with no minimum morality requirement, because even Paragons deserve to be able to do this)
  • Ambassador Udina revealed to be absolute badass with a shotgun
  • More Turian councilor air quotes
What else?

Ambassador Udina is secretly Hulk Hogan who has been in cryo stasis for hundreds of years and is humanity's only hope for survival against the Reaper onslaught.

My list of people to punch:
Delan
Turian councillor
Khalisah Al-Jilani
Udina
TIM
Harbinger

All of these must be in ME3, for otherwise I would be unable to punch them.

Conrad must also be in ME3, but rather than for punching, he must go out in a blaze of glory.

For my teammates to stop shouting "Here we go." I know ME2 did it before Budweiser, but all I can think of when one of them shouts it is that god awful swill.

Gay Romances......? ~tries to avoid conflict~ I mean I haven't really played either ME1 or 2 (Plan on doing so before I play ME3 though), but I've been seeing things around the internet about how there was none in either of the first Mass Effects... So I would really like to see something like it :D

What do I REALLY want? How about a game that perfectly balances shooter and RPG elements, has a plot so good it will still be remembered and referenced in 10 years time, leaves me satisfied LONG after finishing it and finally is so replayable (due to the literally thousands of choices) that I can play it forever and always discover something new.

I want the simple things, but sadly, the simple things are also the most worrisome:

1. The surviving team back, which for me, is everyone.

2. TIM as an enemy or at the very least a third party.

3. NO cliches. I don't want the stupid travel to Earth and end the Reaper invasion stupidity. Bioware, make it interesting and unpredictable!

4. Good balance between classes: I felt like the some classes on the higher difficulties were essentially useless.

5. Improve the stupid squad AI. Tali, one of the characters with the lowest shields, constantly charges into battle on insane and dies instantly (also, on a degree of practicality, why does Tali have a shotgun in the first place?). Then there's Miranda who despite being incredibly well trained and a pivotal character on insanity, is made of paper. Just please make them have some common sense. Maybe the degree of the AI's "smartness" could go up as the game gets more difficult, so you can actually play tactically.

6. Find a middle ground between the inventory system of ME1, and the lack of an inventory system in ME2.

7. No new Normandy!

8. No repeat of ME2. I don't want a stupid cutscene at the beginning of the game showing everyone dying (see point 1) and then going around getting a new squad.

9. Give us fleshed out story missions like those in ME1, not squad collection missions (like in ME2, see point 8)

Anyway thats my 2cents. Enjoy.

More than anything I want ME3 to keep my surviving squadmates (everyone) in my Squad.

I want ME3 to keep Tali's Face as a mystery.

I want ME3 to have more "RPG" options.

I want ME3 to give me experience for killing normal enemies since I'm battling them for a reason.

I want ME3 to have more female nudity :o (What can I say? I'm a guy.):D

I want more choices that affect the universe around me.

I want The Reaper's War to be HUGE and I want Shepard to prove to The Council that The Reapers exist and after he kills the Reaper (Harbinger), I want Shepard to grab that huge Reaper and shove it up The Council's collective *** for not believing Reapers existed.

Lastly, I want my Shepard to Kick TIM *** into that huge star in the background.

Connection.  I want the choices I made in ME 1 to matter in ME 3.  I want the choices I made in ME 2 to matter in ME 3.  And I want consequences that do not involve my Shepard mining a moon to research an upgrade to his spam filter.

I want answers to why things happened the way they did.The Council.  The Alliance.  The Collectors.  The Illusive Man.  Unanswered questions regarding strange behavior and odd continuity errors.

I want an answer to the final boss.  Specifically, WTF?

I want there to be a legitimate reason why Shepard is the Chosen One.  ME 1 had the images of the beacon.   No one else had them.  ME 2 was simply TIM opening his checkbook.   If Shep's the Champion of Humanity, there needs to be a definitive reason besides "I say you're unique"

I want squad banter.  Especially if this is gonna be another "character driven" story.  But I want it in any case.

I want that Cerberus logo off my ship

I want real uniforms for my crew, not the silly Cerberus outfits.  Not superhero costumes.  Real uniforms.

I also want (sealable) armor for squadmates too.  I don't care how stretchy spendex outfits are , bullets will not bounce off them

Most of all I want to know what Cerberus did to Shepard exactly in the Lazarus Project.

Edit:  One more thing.  I want a story that's thoroughly checked in regards to continuity with the first two games.  No more gaping plotholes, please!

The Reapers to be destroying everything, then everyone to take a drink from sports bottles. Then as they've all seemingly magically gained massive strength to demolish the Reapers in one-shots, that one machine on the Citadel can be heard across the galaxy cycling through it's advertisments for Tupira Energy Drink.

This post here basically sums up my overall hopes for the game.  In other words I want ME3 to really engage me emotionally - specifically, I'm hoping ME3 culminates into the most emotionally and physically harrowing experience Shepard has ever had to go through, but with a happy pay-off at the end.

This is my first post. But I want to be able to kill anyone I want. Like, I could just go into a building and shoot up the place in an ultimate renegade action! It is the last of the trilogy, they should make it as extreme as possible (as far as paragon and renegade go).

Also this, as a less general wish.

A kink for masks? or they fade the light just as she removes the mask, personally I want her face revealed.

What do I want?, a story, a plot, a connection, hopefully they can achieve a balance between game play and the story, if not then I hope they concentrate on the story.

I want validation.

For two games we have known the truth about the Reapers, and been ignored. Forced to save the galaxy on our own.

I want validation.
