The most fun I ever had when playing Origins was when I was being a total bastard to everyone.
Most of my Wardens were selfish, manipulative, arrogant, rude, greedy and borderline psychotic. And it was playing as those Wardens that I had the best playthroughs with.

Here are some of my favourite bits;

Hardening and romancing Leliana, then destroying the Urn of Sacred Ashes in front of her.

Sacrificing Isolde with Blood Magic and then make a deal with the Demon, totally screwing Arl Eamon over.

Seducing Gheyna and then bragging about it to Cammen. His reaction was hilarious.

Betraying Allistair at the Landsmeet. This is without doubt one of the highlights of DA:O.

Despite all my evil deeds, still being "The Hero of Ferelden".

I could go on but i'm sure you already get the jist of what i'm saying.
I'm so looking forward to being just as mean and heartless in DA2 as I was in Origins. How 'bout you lot?

Me, MageHawke will be driven by his desire to break the chantry.

EDIT: Not necessarily "Evil" though, just tired of the oppression and willing to do almost anything to fight it.

Me.

My mage will be anti-social and volatile.

Not really, no. I would like being the relatively honorable champion of a misguided/questionable cause, if it's an option.

Being a jerk to common folks for the sake of being a jerk doesn't really appeal to me.

I'll be an altruistic, and goody two shoes who has a clear conscience and has generally a nice disposition where I become a God-King because of all my good deeds. Then I become corrupted by power and then I proceed to enslave thedas and use reincarnation to become an everlasting tyrant.

Much more rewarding; That way you do not have many enemies until you are practically a force of nature. Cheers

Conando Hawke will surely be a scalliwag, and I will work my ass off to get the jerk cutscene that John Epler proclaimed nobody would get.

Wow. That stuff really is evil.

Though I must admit, I tried the Gheyna seduction path just for fun, and Cammen's reaction was priceless

Not the first run, but probably on a subsequent playthrough. It's nice to see the range of possibilities.

Pretty much this.  Which is par for course, most of the 'evil' choices in Bioware games.

Aww, you pissed off a dirt farmer. . .who cares.  At least you get to twirl your moustache!

I will in one playthrough, but not for the sake of being evil. Only when it benefits Mage!Hawke, that greedy, selfish, manipulative SOB.

Eventually. I'm really not good at it, though. I defiled the Ashes just for the achievement/specialization, and felt sick when I had to kill Leliana for it (it didn't help that it triggered the decapitation animation).

I always try to do a hardass character eventually, but I can't really make myself play someone who is evil for the sake of being evil.

I guess it depends on your definition of "evil".

This. Or a Lawful Blue-aligned character. Honorable (in a sense) but pragmatic.

Well, I play chaotic neutral generally so... sometimes that whim comes to completely destroy a person. But It's generally because a person comes off the wrong way to me, or just annoys me in general. Still seducing cammen as a female and then telling gheyna is far more hilarious.

As opposed to my Chantry loving Warden, I'm going to play mage F!Hawke who is possessed by a desire demon.

I do not know. If I had to be evil, why sell myself short and be a basic street thug. I would much rather be kingpin than a foot soldier.

Also this is all lies and hubris. I am almost exclusively a chaotic good pragmatist.

I suppose if power hungry = evil then yes I will play a character like that, not on my first playthrough but eventually.

Chaotic Neutral.

I don't go out of my way to a jerk, but hey, if the opportunity presents itself: Why Not?

I would like to play Hawkette like the Monarch from Venture Bros... alas I don't think it'll be possible.

I'm constitutionally incapable of being evil when playing a game, it makes me feel sick. Every time I try, I end up doing good things.

Actually,  let me make an addendum: I just cannot do patently evil things at all.

One of my Hawke's may be like this though I must say the urn of sacred ashes part is ONLY thing, I had issues with going on the evil side of things with...actually my story with that was..that I defiled the urn, killed the guardian and Lelianna( wynne was taken out during the circle tower quest line)...then AFTER I got the spec, i then killed Kolgrim for his axe( the best or second best great-axe in origins) and killed the high-dragon so I could make my superior dragon bone armor.

2. since I sided with templars, in this playthrough...I took this route as well, though I couldn't do the desire demon thing, since I was a warrior on the playthrough( still led to alistar throwing up a hissyfit at me...would deal with him later.;))... also after I healed Eamon... I had him kill Jowan( again the mages are taken care of, so this was to me the best option.)

3. This one was probadly , the most hilarious AND classic part of the entire playthrough....ONE I do NOT regret at all! Then after that i sided with the werewolves and killed all of the elves( as well as claimed zathrian's staff for Morrigan).

4. I sided with Bhelen(usually did this unless I was a dwarf noble) and saved the anvil of the void...Orzamammar usually comes out better this way oddly enough...(btw...just FYI... I saved shale after this quest so I could still use her and do her particular sidequest).

4. In all of my male HNO playthroughs, I basically did this to alistar AND eamon at the landsmeet... a. I don't harden alistar b. I take the throne with Anora as the King-Consort. c. I leave Loghain alive to join the party(only did that one once).

5. I go through with DR with Morrigan...and become what I am which is the "Hero" of Fereldan. ;)

This was and ALWAYS will be by far and away my most EVIL playthrough in bioware game.( though my Dark-Side Sith Lord run in Kotor 2 was still more villianous.)
