I am confused and a lot more excited for this game right now.

Essentially it's this: there is a different appearance for any family members in the game based on one of the base appearance sliders for your PC (I can't remember if it's skin tone or the default face). No. As I said, there are several set appearances for your family based on one appearance setting you choose for your PC. They do not change beyond that.

This is, I should add, completely subject to change or even cutting. I'm simply describing how I remember the system working at the moment (and, god forbid, I may even be wrong on how it's set up-- details tend to change on the systems stuff without notice).

Roller coaster. First I thought the system was amazingly flexible after the first page. Then I read David Gaider's post on this page and realized it has limitations. That is still very cool, though. This is hands down my favorite improvement in DA2.

One question for the devs: although I like the idea of changing something in the look of our siblings, based on Hawje's customization, I wonder if there is something that let us know how they look before whe finish the CC. I higly doubt that there will be this chance, but I really want to have it. It's not going to be fun for me, after I made a good Hawke, to see my siblings and realize that I don't like them.

Your siblings will look much better than you do is what will happen. As David explained, their appearance will be based on the preset, not on how mad you go with the sliders.
