You don't marry Zevran during the actual game.

I think people are creating mods for marriage scenes. I know there's one for Alistair. Probably ones for the other romance options by now. But there aren't any in the vanilla game. That's probably the confusion...?

There is one very good mod out there for the Zev marriage (still WIP):

I love that about the ending of Zevran's romance -- the one who is considered the most promiscuous is the one who requires the deepest commitment once he falls in love.

Well, the deepest commitment to your own imagination since they don't in fact show a darn thing and leave it all up the imagination.

WHAT? Imagination?  Didn't we leave that in the past with the etch-a-sketches?

:innocent:

I kid, I kid. I did download the Zev mod to try it a while ago.... have yet to do so though. This character I am currently playing just didn't end up going down that route. Or any route actually.  :?  ....  :crying:

No, I mean that Zevran requires a commitment from the warden and if the warden is not willing to commit to the two of them having a future (whether you get the proposal dialog or not), he breaks up with him/her.

Edit; this is what I mean -- this is the warden not wanting to accept the proposal, but not wanting to end things either.  Even if you don't get the proposal dialog, though, if you try to keep it open, he breaks up with the warden there as well.  Zevran requires a commitment after he falls in love.

I was really surprised in my early playthrus, I always thought Alistair would be the marrying kind and Zev would be the free spirit; while you can't exactly call Ali a free spirit the contrast is startling.

Alistair is well aware of the possibility that the country may try to make him king and after his first "encounter" if you ask him about the future he is very quick to warn you there may be no future. He lives up to that prediction if you are of any race or social position other than a human noble.

Zev on the other hand the picture of the male lightskirt and yet at the end regardless of race or social position wants a lifelong commitment and throughout his romance he is constantly probiong you to assess your intentions as the relationship progresses.
