     After I told Liara about knowing about the Shadow Broker and she left her computer so I could get intel on two potential teammates, I chose to recruit Thane first. So, I selected the information about him and exited the console screen. When I came back to Illium after doing Thane's mission, and therefore the disabled collector ship mission, I was going to recruit Samara. However, when I opened the menu at the console and pressed "A" to view the intel, it closed me out of the menu with no information. I tried to repeat the process several times to see if I did something wrong, and I checked to see if I was able to do the mission, but I couldn't. I don't know what to do from here regarding the mission, and I don't want to repeat all of the planet scanning and missions I did prior to my second visit for intel. Is there anything that can be done, or that I can do about this?

Known bug. Only way around it now is to load a previous save from before talking to Liara. In future, talk to Liara about the squad-mates first, and then talk to her about SB.

If you have access to a PC, and all the requierd cables to link the Xbox up to the PC, it is possible to edit the save game using Gibbed's save game editor, to allow Samara to be recruited.

ok, thanks for letting me know; but will the bug get fixed so maybe I will not need to repeat everything before my second return to Illium?

If this is known bug, then why has this not been fixed yet? lotsb has been out for like half a year.
