I know that most already know this answer but seeing that I new to this type of RPG does anyone know how diverse the weapons particularly the staves will be? Is there a random item creator or does DA:O have a pre-set item selection if so how many can I expect to encounter in my 6 games, oh yes I do indeed intend to play all 6 origins, and yes this is a very obtuse run on sentence that doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon...forget the grammatical and speling errors. Information, knowledge, preparation to what seems to be the greatest game of 2009. Boo ya.
What of the items? (weapons, armor, etc) Is there a pre-determined amount of weapons or is the list endless?

you should really consider changing the title to "pre-determined amount of weapons?"

Here I thought this was going to be another topic by flamechamp after the long title. Imagine my disapointment!
As I understand the drops will be a mix of static and random. All of the better items will come from the same place every time, similar to previous BioWare games. We don't really know how "diverse" the items are, but given the length of the game, I'd expect some variety.

Yes I apologize for the length of my post title, perhaps it would prove how inexperienced I am in this situation, but thanks to soteria. Your information is invaluable.

Hey does anyone know (besides the conceptual art) if there is somewhere I can look for information on in game items. Yes I am persistent but even more I am impatient! I need something to hold myself over for the next seven days and I want weapons! NOW!

I'm unaware of a item drop generator or something applied to vendors like in Icewind Dale
