As much as I like Saren, I think he should remain dead.

Very interesting thought~ but even with DNA would they be able to recover his memories and personality, considering he was shot through the head?

I'm sure Shepard had a lot of damage to the head too. When they recovered the body in Redemption, they couldn't even tell by looking if Shepard was a man or a woman. As for memories and personality, there's no real way to know, so whatever BioWare says is "truth."

Either way, if he somehow returned my life would be complete

So would my MainShep's. :)

Ha, I didn't know Shepard was that badly damaged *Terrible at paying attention in scenes*
Still, I'll agree with that Bioware statement. ; D

SCREW YOU, my fanfics about Shepard exploring Saren's new cloned body are SO GOOD. You have no taste!

Guiz, clearly the Reapers have been searching for Saren's DNA in humans (since he slept with all humans everywhere) so they could gather enough to put him back together cell by cell.

(Am I facetious enough yet?)

That was so random that...that... I think I'm starting to buy it.

Ok, a quick question. Say TIM somehow overcomes the logical flaw of a pro human group resurrecting a turian spectre known to have no love for the human race and bring Saren back exactly as he was - what purpose would it serve the plot? Wouldn't you just be dragging the turian back into the indoctrination he was suffering before his death?

Shepard was not only exposed to space, but reentered a planets atmosphere, He was messed up a bit.

Without Sovergin, Saren is free.

*Excuse my spelling*

Saren was okay, he wasn't nearly as deep in execution as he was in concept which was a bit of shame but he was very well voiced which at least lent him a sense of conviction.

I think Loghain outdid him in the well-intentioned extremist department.

What about the other hundreds - if not thousands - of reapers still in existance? Indoctrination is not exclusive to one reaper.

I don't think it was said in-game, just in the comic.

That's right. If Sovereign is dead, there's no one controlling Saren. Also, I doubt TIM would re-install the implants that allowed Sovereign to assume direct control. Saren would have the same chance of getting indoctrinated as everyone else - no more, no less, just don't spend too much time around a Reaper.

As for why TIM would bring him back? Reaper information and desperation. Saren was studying the Reapers, or at least Sovereign, for over 20 years.

I know he was Reapers most active agent, so our task to take him down made most of ppl to dislike his actions, including me.

I think we can forgive him considering picture below :)

I forgave him before the end of my first playthrough. Can't blame the guy for not telling the Council. We all know how well that went over for Shepard...

It can be harder to like videogame villains than movie or book villains though, mostly because we're the ones they're trying to stop/kill rather than some other main character we may not even like. I know I can get angry at videogame villains who are really hard to kill.

Saren from the video game was a great villain.

Saren explained from the novels was an epic d*uchenozzle.

Saren is somewhat of an anti-villain, he does something wrong but for (what Saren believes) the right reasons.

I guess so, he is more of nemesis to Shep then.

Saren was already a sadistic bastardo to start out with. And still, it took Shepard's highest Renagade/Paragon option to put a bullet in his own head.

Yeah, if you know anything about his background then it is clear he was already ruthless to begin with.  Almost what you could call a sociopathic turian.  But i sitll felt bad at the end when he committed suicide... He really was trying to do something good, but he went about it the wrong way.

Jacob does say though at some point in the game, something along the lines of, " Im' no doctor, but when they brought you in it was just meat" forgive me as I cant remember the actual quote.
