Psh! Duncan's shield wasn't easy to find.. Zevran's gloves or boots weren't easy to find.. Morrigan's stupid grimoire that I couldn't even use wasnt easy to find... When will my companions think about me and my needs for a change?
Word.
You're thrust into the Grey Wardens, then immediately expected to take charge. Oh sure, Alistair says he's there to guide the new recruits, but just see how far you get when you wait for Alistair to take you anywhere once you're through those gates. That's right, it takes you
nowhere at all, ever. Then all these other people join your cause, and add absolutely nothing, letting you lead them through hell and back
all the while ****ing and moaning about every decision you make. You provide them with a wide variety of wondrous gifts (nostalgic or important items like grimoirs, special flowers, a soulsword (amg Magik wants her thing back, Sten) or other nice things like special statues, books, paintings and jewelry), and what do you get in return?
More complaints, more butting their nose into things that are none of their business, and more whining when you don't do things their way
but never before you actually have to make such a choice.
My Hawke had better get a nice bow or dagger from one of his companions, as appreciation for all the trouble he goes through just for them. Maybe a cute pet kitten. If not, they'd better watch out, because I will take every opportunity I'm presented with in the game to get rid of them or make their lives miserable.
Especially if I'm romancing them. Don't make me cross half the country to pluck you a precious, rare flower when you won't do the same for me.
*cough* I'm sorry, where were we? >.>
