So apperantly vehicle exploration is returning in ME3 and I personally hated it in ME1. Who liked running around prospecting planets anyway? Yeah, and the MAKO's incapacity to go over a mountain without ragdolling down hill after reaching the top didn't help in the slightest.

The enviroments were too big and boring. i certainly don't expect it to be very good at all. If BW can make it work I'll be impressed. Very impressed.

I'm pretty sure they mean stuff like Overlord and less 90% jagged rock planets.

If the landscapes are varied and the vehicle isn't total garbage, I won't mind doing some exploration here and there.

Well Bioware took a step in the right direction with the Hammerhead. That thing was leaps and bounds better than the MAKO. I have faith in Bioware to improve vehicle exploration even more.

Damn better be. The only reason I don't replay ME1 is because of the "90% jagged rock planets".

So you won't replay a game because of something that you don't even have to do?

Well, that makes perfect sense.

Hammerhead was a joke, I'd rather explore with hover taxi and fight on foot when needed than use that piece of garbage.

Mako on the other hand was fun, but it was just too easy to fight with, you were never in any real danger with it, it owned everything Geth threw at it with ease.

Slap a shield on the Hammerhead and Overlord-style exploration would be awesome. Just do the same thing with the N7 missions in ME2, where each one was markedly different, instead of having a hundred planets with the following shopping list:

three mineral nodes

one cache of loot

one merc base identical to the last merc base

A thread that said what was and wasn't coming for ME3. it wasn't fan made btw. Look around, maybe it's still up.

Im the kind of person who does things to the fullest. If I replay ME1 I need to do everything. That's how I am.

Planet exploration in moderation could be fun. Like Schiedend says, slap a shield on the HH and you can cover distances easily. I actually liked visiting some of those lonely, isolated outposts in ME1.

This was more due to a fixed low poly count in the terrain, I'm hoping they impliment tesselation if we have to explore in a vehical again, this can give a high poly count close up while keeping distant poly count low.

I did not understand a thing you just said.

if the missions are similar to overlord's with the hammerhead, i'd be happy. it'd be the best of both worlds, imo.

I want my mako back just with less weird terrian (and really almost every planet had a flat road that you could go up. All this QQing about going up 90degree hills is nonsense The game is not to blame for you not bothering to explore).

I think i am the only person who enjoyed planet scanning. It was because i never know what I could find, i felt like an explorer.

A combonation of planet scanning and Mako driving and it would be amazing.
