Ser Cauthrien
I believe that's how her name was spelt.
That would have been awesome. Isn't she dead, though?
Not unless you used persuasion to get your way at the landsmeet. If you choose to persuade her, it is not explained what happens to her.
Ah. Also, she does seem to have a knack for returning from the dead. I had to kill her twice in some playthroughs. Once during Rescue the Queen, and then again before the Landsmeet. Maybe she has a ring of nine lives or something.
loool You actually managed to kill her during Rescue the queen? I tried thrice and got my ass handed to me on a silver platter, a gold platter and then some small china plates. I stuck to surrender afterwards.
Btw, if you'll notice, most "kills" aren't kills unless the character is meant to die. Our companions get knocked down during fights only to get back up with witty lines after we've won and it may have been the same case for Ser Cauthrien.
That doesn't explain why I could loot her corpse for The Summer Sword both times.
It's supposed to be a unique weapon...
Yes, I managed to defeat her... by running away and having her chase after me. The other soldiers would either stay by the entrance or give up the chase and return to the entrance after a short while. Then you had her all to yourself. Heroic, huh?
Awww shucks man! Now why didn't *I* run? I was certainly terrified enough when I saw how quick my life was dropping. I bow to your genius ser..
It's a strategy I apply to most fights I find too hard. Cast Haste. Run away. Find a choke point. Lay traps. Fight.
Works almost every time.
