I will judge the graphical quality when I get the game. I wont try to form an opinion from "blink and you miss" clips that arent showing me the final product. That just isnt right.

Wait, you think DA2 looks like a series where the eyes of most characters take up 2/3rds of their faces and 99.9% of the hair survives on metric tons of gel that allows it to defy the basic concepts of gravity?oldgodbioware wrote...
I think it looks like that show YU GI OH in art style, and for your other question i hate Japanese role playing games and ainme's,I love japanese culture as im irish and have many japanese friends, but i don't like the cartoony feel to it it just seems to unrealistic to me.

EDIT: The Hawkes that GodWood posted look like what I'm hoping the characters will all look like. Sebastian's pictures look plastic. My question is: which example is the finished product?

I'm definitely not getting an anime vibe from it, i think you're just embellishing because it's different, and change is bad everything should always be static and unchanging for ever

However, I'm not particularly thrilled with the direction the art style is taking here. Everything looks really... Bland. Colorless. From my point of view anyway. Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong images. The real problem is with the animation. I can't even see half the blows struck or the movements made in these preview videos. No human can move that fast.
Granted, DA2 is SUPPOSED to be a completely different game. The animation style in DA:O was realistic. DA2 seems intended to be exaggerated. We'll see how it works out in the finished game.
